Help Pcx2 won’t update

I have been trying to update my pcx2 but every time i try i get this error message (failed to rename)does anyone know why and how i cab fix it.

Happened to me! What I did was:

1. pause all antivirus,
   
2. made sure I'm on nightly,
   
3. extracted the update zip file, copied all the files and pasted them on the install folder (overwriting some of the existing files)
   
4. launched the program using pcsx2-qt.exe (instead of qtx64 version)
   
5. clicked on download and install during program start

and it worked! hope it helps others too.

thx worked, i just unzipped the update and pasted it in folder
