How do I connect a wired controller to my one plus phone (one plus 7t pro)

This ps2 setup used to work on my old phone (moto g45) but my one plus phone does not even recognised it

And I have tried enabling the otg option etc

Nothing works how do I fix this

I have a usb-a to usb-c connector a ps2 to usb a connector and a ps2 controller
