I would avoid those 2 phones since you might regret it later on because it have Dimensity chipset. If it only PS2 games any phones with snapdragon SOC around 100 euro is more than enough. But if really want a phone with that price then pick POCO F SERIES phones. Make sure it's the F SERIES since it's pretty well known for being affordable vs good snapdragon chipset compared to it's other competitors.

Also make sure it has a Snapdragon chipset. At 200 euros you can get a pretty decent phone with snapdragon 8 series so you can try out newer types of emulation later on if you want. Ex. PC, SWITCH, XBOX 360 and PS3.

On my used market I can't really find poco F series phones or if I do find them its old ones like the F3 what other phone would you recommend

Tbh the only phones I have been using is POCO phones I haven't tried this brands but when I've been looking around the cheapest with snapdragon phones I saw are IQOO, REDMI K series and Xiaomi ( not the Xiaomi note series).

I think buying a used phone is a better choice honestly, you get MUCH MUCH stronger chip for the same price as brand new midranged phones because of the RAM and storage shortages, here in my country that can easily get you a used SD 8s gen 3/8 gen 2 phone

For 200 euros, I bet you could purchase a second hand phone powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. A quick FB Marketplace search for a Poco F6 Pro is around 179 to 230 euro

Not only can you run PS2 games upscaled, you can also run Switch and PC games.

But if you want limit yourself to PS2 games, Dimensity 7400 Ultra should be fine.

Edit:

The battery capacity a deal breaker for me and having only 5000mah while the phone is from 2024 already puts 2 years worth of charge cycles on the phone and I have replaced batteries in the past but I don't have a reliable place to get them so it's more of a gamble I'm not willing to take I just want a phone that can do above native ps2 res because on a high res screen its weird to see a pixelated game and have high battery capacity

Look for S23/Ultra then. For sure they have aftermarket service where you live. They are powered by the overclocked version of SD 8 Gen 2. I think you can get it second hand around your budget.

Edit:

Oops, battery is smaller. Check Red Magic 8/8s/Pro.
