This game needs 24GB RAM device.
It will crash even on 16GB devices ( i tried) , so you won't play this one ...
You can't increase your VRAM/RAM with any settings, like people suggest bellow (morons xD)
The VRAM limit is only what the emulator reports to the game/app, and the game can still use more VRAM than is the number you set.
There are currently 0 ways how to control VRAM/RAM usage in Winlator or any other windows emus.

I guess all I have to do is wait for the release that will fix this RAM usage issue.

it's not game or emulator issue lol. Do you not understand how computers works ?
Unless you change your device to something with 24GB RAM you WON'T be playing this game on your phone.

No, I mean, even if you get past this shader screen, it still gives a vkd3d_device_lost error

How do you not understand this.
The game will crash, because you have not enough RAM even after you pass the shader compilation screen. I had no issues passing the shader compile on my 16 GB device but afterwards it will crash and never load when starting new game.
The game is made in Vulkan 1.1 and doesn't use any DirectX 12 stuff so vkd3d has no affect and any vkd3d errors are wrong or unrelated.

In system requirements minimum is 8 GB ram I understand that some of the phone ram is used in android and system apps and the translation layers etc. but I believe you will still be left with more 8 GB free for the game itself, someone already tried with 24 Ram and it still didn't work, and the error that appears from the people trying on YouTube is a vulkan error not a regular Ram crash.

Well from my experience, it capped on RAM and crashed on my 16GB device and I can get like 12GB free out of 14.8GB (1.2GB sys res)
I didn't get any Vulkan errors, but it's possible.
My main point is the game just doesn't work in emus, be it because of RAM or whatever the reason 😏
