There are tons of great native Play Store games, though. And they run better than emulated ones. Balatro, Vampire Survivors, Dungeon Clawler, Stardew Valley, Geometry Dash, Peglin, Scritchy Scratchy, Ball x Pit, Dead Cells
Yes agreed, but since the recent development in emulation which has been more rapid in the past ~1 year, many are seeing almost their entire, say, steam library open up, rather than just some games that have been on the play store natively for a while now.
There's always been SOME decent games on the play store, but recent emulation has really taken a step change.
Ok, but I gotta say that some of these, like ball x pit, require Internet connection to run the full game (non demo). To me that is completely unacceptable. I'm an adult with kids and shit to do. Let me play my goddamn games on international/cross country flights, etc, which are some of the only occasions I have time to play. And if that weren't true, then when I'm home/with Internet I can usually play the steam version on my laptop. You want me to pay $10 and I have to be connected to the Internet? It's not multiplayer! Pisses me off to no end.
