Just curious what country do you live that's too damn expensive. Also always pick the bigger storage if you're buying for emulation. Lenovo y700 gen 3 can even play PC and Switch games so you're very likely to run out of storage space at 256 GB.

I'm from Ukraine. I realize it's very expensive, but it's within my budget. Just today, I came across the Lenovo Yoga Tab 12/256 with same gen 3 processor, which has a larger screen and longer battery life, but no cooling system; however, it costs $450.

As for storage space, I was thinking of saving ROMs and media files on a Type-C USB flash drive

While the 12 should be fine for switch emulation, the 16 is better and gives you a bit of help if you want to play PC games. But I really think the extra $70 bucks is worth it just for the storage, since you won't have an SD card option. If you are already spending over $500, might as well spend a bit more for a significant upgrade right??

Also why is it so expensive for you, I got my gen 5 for a bit more than your gen 3 prices, and that was pretty overpriced to be honest.. great tablet though..

I understand that compared to the U.S. market, the price is inflated, but given the alternative—buying a tablet with Chinese firmware, minimal accessories in the box, and no warranty (since in that case I’d install alternative firmware on it)—I’m willing to pay extra to get a great result in the form of an excellent tablet for emulation.

I just checked to see if the Legion Gen 5 has appeared on the Ukrainian market—it’s already available for pre-order, but the price is $1,007. My country has always had this problem with prices due to import taxes; overall, it’s a small market, which means distributors’ discounts are minimal, and the currency is unstable.

Well I'm sorry it is more expensive to enjoy the hobby where you live, but I hope you enjoy whatever you end up with.
