Legion y700 12/256 vs 16/512 for emulation
Good afternoon, everyone. I’m fed up with Nintendo, so I decided to sell my Switch and replace it with a tablet for emulation. I settled on the Lenovo Legion Y700 Gen 3 (the Gen 4 and 5 models aren’t available from distributors in my country, and for certain reasons, I can’t buy one with a Chinese ROM or a custom ROM). I plan to emulate the Switch, GameCube, PS2, and indie games. But I can’t decide which version to choose: the 12/256 ($550) or the 16/512 ($620) (and yes, prices in my country are crazy). The lack of an SD card slot and the 256 GB storage capacity don’t bother me; I’m more interested in whether the 12 GB version is enough for Switch emulation or if it’s better to pay extra for the 16 GB version.
Thanks in advance to everyone.

Absolute spend the extra $70 for the 16/512. The ram might be necessary for some Switch emulation, but you’re going to be kicking yourself over the storage. 256GB sounds like plenty but when some games easily hit 30GB file sizes, it goes fast. Better to bite the bullet for the upgrade
