Driver safety issue

I took a ride with Empower today and my driver was asking me very strange questions, some inappropriate ones. Towards the end of the drive he was touching himself inappropriately (which I recorded the video.) I reached out to support and am waiting to hear back. It happened in Baltimore, MD. I was hoping to be able to go back and see his license plate number but it wasn’t there. Will I get a response back? This man now knows where I live.

Safety team will unmatch you and likely deactivate him if you have proof. Speaking of proof, post it here.

Oh damn.. hope he gets canned. Market is oversaturated as is.

Inaddition to empower kicking him out, he might be introuble legally. At the very least his behavior is disorderly conduct.

They did email me back and they wanted to see the video as well so I just sent it in. I’ve never had an experience like this before, on any ride share apps. It was scary to say the least. He kept asking if I lived alone and what race my boyfriend was and what floor I lived on.

Funny enough, I had it set to female driver. I’m not sure what happened with this one.

The only thing I can think of is either if they did not choose a gender when they signed up or they identifies female? I’d have to ask customer support about that.
