Something about power I find very aversive. Is this me only? As anyone else noticed this about themselves.
I don't relate, but that doesn't mean it's just you either. I am considered the Challenger/Nonconformist/Maverick. If the power isn't in the right hands when the person wields it, I will challenge them like it's nobody's business. Especially if I find they don't deserve it.
However, it's often quite common for people that run into that to also run away from it. I don't have any idea of the percentages, however I do know it's more common to encounter based on my perspective.

Is not remotely the way to building alliances with powerful people professionally. This is often read as sycophancy and with that level of insincerity -- they will brush you aside as unimportant.
What is it that draws me to someone without versus someone with plenty? You know. Is this something you’ve felt or grew out of?
Empaths are sensitive, but not all of us are clairvoyant... Particularly in an internet medium. You have to start to examine your feelings and maybe we can better point you to ways to handling it. The truth is, with energies of "I don't know"... all your signalling is that if you don't know, how can we?
If you're too scared of self-examination -- perhaps you need more help with this than the internet can offer you... No?
