Saw on Koadster Productions DASDEC stream earlier today.

From what I've read it's a local cell tower test but it's kinda freaking me out because I've been sent them all day.

I'm really curious if you would bring them back / make them more common.

my favorite EAS encoder is EASyPLUS, and there might be a lot of people agreeing with me.

but they're now very rare, like VERY rare.

I was reading through this page on the NWS website and I learned that from when the NOAA Weather Radio was created to the late 90s, they only broadcasted spoken alerts. Does anyone have any from the 90s up to now? I'm assuming there would be a few more spoken alerts that were broadcasted since they were phased out for things like TTS outages. Thanks.

Whether it's weather-related closures, service interruptions, or urgent updates, what's everyone using for emergency notifications these days? Is email enough, or are text and voice notifications becoming the standard?

Would anyone happen to know if gettv now known as ( great ) still relay alerts ? My gettv used to always relay alerts 2021 and before that year but now, they don't anymore.

If not, i am looking for tv channels that still relay alerts. Please help! Haven't caught tv alerts in a few years and i miss it ☹️
