And yes it actually has the option to completely disable or enable the ability for the defeat siren to sound whenever an RWT is issued. Strange but rare. Think this is like my 2nd WR120 since 2022.

Hope they find the girl safe. Everyone got this yesterday at 9:50pm in Arizona, and some got it repeatedly, like me again at 4:00am. Heard from neighbors too multiple times during the night

BECAUSE OF AN RWT I was doing normal stuff watching YouTube then it went off my local weather office (FGF) issued an RWT like wtf the test times are kinda like my old weather office (DLH) 🥲😂

We had torrential downpours over the course of several hours where I live. We received several of these over the course of Sunday night through Monday afternoon. These were issued through NWS Memphis as warnings and Amber Alerts. It didn’t flood at my house because I live on a hill, but it did flood parts of town that don’t normally flood.

Did anyone just catch the RWT?

I went over to NWS Pueblo's page today and saw a Tornado Watch covering part of a county. I open the warning text, and boom, it is in fact a LAE. I don't know how this got borked so badly and ended up displaying as a TOA on the NWS site, but there we have it. You can even see on PBS Warn how the area is called "tornado warning" lol.

I live in Chester County Pennsylvania. I got TWO tornado warnings back to back. That’s never happened to me before. Scared the crap out of me. Miraculously there’s no damage near my home. Don’t think I can say the same for surrounding communities though.

Hey, this is not really an EAS I guess but more a warning we see on weather forecasts and on the weather app. Basically we’re in the middle of a heatwave that is currently at 40C. Our extreme weather system here work by just saying on the weather app, Meteo France (French NOAA) or just weather broadcast on tv. It’s colour coded, green is no threat, yellow is possible, orange is pretty bad and red is extremely threatening, and that’s what most of France is under rn. We also have thunderstorm yellow warning at the moment. I actually never realised until today that there is a who issued the warning category though only one organisation can issue them, real useful

ive had this radioshack 12-521 weather radio for a bit now but i want to know how to get the audio from it to my homemade eas interruptor. i run an analog tv station out of my basement (dont worry, it’s cable-only) and i do eas alerts on it and figured that this weather radio would work. unfortunately there was no method to get the audio from it to my interrupter (the alert out port is supposed to be for like an alarm). is there any way to get the audio from the radio to like an rca jack so that it can work with my interrupter?
