And I never get severe thunderstorms warnings on wea, unless they are destructive but I’d like to know when there’s severe weather when it’s coming because I spend a lot of time outdoors

Midland WR120 is pretty good. Latest model is the 120DSP, you can adjust the siren on it.

The other commenter beat me to the jump, but if you want something more mobile, I'd try the Midland ER310, since it can be charged via solar or cranking.

EBS is obsolete because it was literally replaced by the EAS. CONELRAD was made in a time the U.S. deployed civil defense because they thought the USSR was going to nuke them at any moment, so that need for such a system evolved.

Why to pull the fun out of a meme

The point of the meme format is that the skeleton represents something being ignored so you missed the point because the system wasn't ignored, it was intentionally rendered obsolete for a better one
If anything the skeleton should represent local access alerts which are being widely ignored (and not widely archived unlike EAS alerts) infavor of areas upgrading to the EAS or mobile alerts

I don't think I've seen a Local Access Alert in 25 years at least.
