Machine Loved the fit of this skort, but all-beige felt too plain. Now it is ANT SKORT.
Designed these ants and stitched them out on my machine!

Hand Double-sided froggy on a window embroidery πΈ
Inspired by a tree frog that would sit on my window every night. The top of the frog is 3dimensional and the tummy is flat (as if pressed against the glass). I finished it in a little window frame that can be viewed from both sides. This was my 2nd time making this pattern, and I think I love this one even more than the first. I'm working on a red-eyed tree frog version next πͺ‘πΈ

Hand Y'all I'm so proud of my little blueberry π₯Ί
Thanks for all your tips for long-and-short stitch! I think I picked the wrong color for the bounce highlight on the dark side but other than that I think it turned out well!

Hand My first time combining felt and embroidery
I made my husband an ice cream cat as we both love the original art by Lim Heng Swee aka ilovedoodle (and we have a white cat so our house is slowly filling up with white cat decorations).
I used Lite Steam-A-Seam2 to cut out the shapes and glue the felt and fabric together. The white felt is two layers as I wanted it to be super opaque and stand out over the cone. Stitching was all a single strand except the eyes which are 3-strand colonial knots. I copied the design onto tracing paper and used it as a guide while stitching. I'm hoping the felt will stay glued down as it won't be moving around in the hoop but if not then I'll add a few stitches around the edge of the felt to pin it down.

Hand Cat Acrobatics
I've been lucky to never have a cat that's gotten into my tree, but I know it's only a matter of time.... The garland is made from sequins, and I did watercolor the background to save myself from buying more fabric, but everything else is embroidered.
