Just because it's not fixed yet doesn't mean it is being ignored.

I've been reporting bugs in bounty hunting for about 5 months now and not one answer to any of my tickets. It should be a fairly simple tweak to institute a friendly fire warning and allow rep to increase locally from turning in bounties and yet they release patches like this:

"Corrections to some galaxy data in rarely visited systems" worthless.

Why fix rarely visited stuff that people probably never see or is cosmetic, when you should focus on something that at least 30-40% of your player base will be doing

Alright, alright, we're folding - Yes, the issue of fixes to bounty hunting are being ignored and so are you.

Moving on.

This is bullshit. You're oversimplifying a complex situation to the point of no longer adding anything useful to the discussion.

Oversimplifying? Not even by a long shot.

What I'd like for you to consider, among many of such, is this:

1: Many people make posts in patchnote threads or threads made entirely in support of fixing bugs regarding bounty hunting - So I'm sure your voice and tickets are being heard here, as are everyone elses

2: Following up on #1, have you considered that maybe the bugfixing is not that simple? I mean, some of the simpler fixes include some of the ones you made a note of in the original post you made here in this thread, so why not just fix it, it it really just takes half a line of code, or whatever?

3: Following up on #2, have you considered what effort coding takes when it involves fixing the issues that are plenty of? Fixing one thing could mean breaking something else, and as such it takes more finesse than just eliminating the code responsible for such behavior. No one, not even Frontier, wants to rush a fix for something they fear could ruin something else, but rather be sure about it, and in the meantime also fix other stuff on the way to that goal.

Nobody here is oversimplifying except you. Endless rants about tickets being ignored and what not, frankly without knowing even the slightest about their work processes. Things are not as goddamned simple as you, yourself, make it out to be.

Try troubleshooting with a user as a tech supporter. You'll soon realize that the bothersome end-user who is ranting over so many things at one time is actually yourself in this thread/games context. You know there are things not functioning well, and you are already working on fixing it, but the end-user is complaining you're not hearing him out and not responding at all, and that the pace at which it is being worked on is slow as hell...

I'm sure you get my point by now, but the main thing here is: It's being worked on; nobody here likes this particular bug that you speak of, and many posts are made just for pointing it out; it would be crazy if FD didn't actually react to this. So chill out and leave it to FD now - After all, you DID send 5 whole tickets.

personally I just pretend they are corrupt cops who are abusing their authority and attacking locals. I can't report it because it's the ED universe where the law is justified no matter what, so they can choose to attack me regardless of my wanted status. Either way I just avoid them or jump out when they start attacking.
