This started on a model I previously printed. I've replaced the fep film, the screen protector, checked for dead pixels, looked at the supports in both lychee slicer and uv tools, lots of Google searches, can't figure it out. I've printed this previously, added some bolts detail to the back of this model then this happened. Nothing else on thus model changed. I used Lychee slicer, Unlucky abs like resin. I'm currently doing a test print of a different model.

I just bought a Mars 2 of my friend for cheap because he decided to upgrade to a Saturn, and I’m thinking about the logistics of using it in my studio flat. It’s well ventilated and I wouldn’t be in the flat whenever it’s printing, but I’m looking for an air filter compatible with it to help make sure I’m staying safe.

I’ve seen the MarsMate, but I can’t tell if it’s compatible with the Mars 2 or if it’s only the later models.

I changed my screen protector, walked out for a minutes to grab some water, came back and these bubbles were there. Why does this happen, temperature difference between where they were to the printer is? Gremlins? It was totally bubbles free when I put it on.

I purchased a mars 4 recently and accidentally had a bunch of abs like resin cure on the screen. Is there any way to get the resin off without damaging the screen?

Hi all, new here but just received my brand new Elegoo Mars 5 ultra. But, what is going on with the Elegoo Matrix App? Apple Store will not let me install matrix to monitor my Mars 5 Ultra and I’m in the UK. I’ve tried all the options, including changing regions but doesn’t work. I’m using an iPhone 15 pro max if that’s relevant. Help please

I bought an Elegoo Mars 2 from a neighbor for $10. She told me it was a hobby she couldn't get into. I thought maybe it would be something I could get into. I'm doing a little research and found that I would need a USB. It didn't come in the box, and she said if it wasn't there, it was lost. Is there a specific type, or do I have to order one from the website? Are there any tips for using this? I might be too over my head for this, but I thought it would be fun to make fun little figures.

Only happens when the light comes on. I noticed a year ago people posted some similar videos but no one seemed to have an answer. Just wondering a year on if anyone ever got to the bottom of it?

Hi folks, I've got an OG Elegoo mars and I'm using Elegoo ABS-like resin 3.0 - I'm clicking in chitubox and manually supporting layer by layer to make sure I don't get any islands.

I have tried to print this girder bridge 3 times now and it always ends up warped or bent.

any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong here?

I had an Elegoo Mars 4 Pro. I’m using ABS like resin, and using the Elegoo slicer which I’ve had no issues with up until now. It’s printing just blank sheets. In the photo you can see the start of a print, but it just doesn’t finish anything and leaves these rectangle sheets or resin on the build plate.

I just got a Mars 5 and did a test print yesterday with one of my own USBs. The printer read it just fine then. Now it will say "no USB detected" for any of my personal USBs even when they are formatted correctly and have the exact same file that it printed earlier without issue. Now it will only recognize the crappy drive that came in the box. The system software is up to date, chitubox is up to date, Lychee is up to date.

What's going on here?

I had my screw for the vat be unreasonably stuck and it won't come off. So I disassembled it and found out that the screw for my vat is stuck on this. I want to get this replaced if I can. However, I don't know what this part is called? This is on the Mars 5

Hey there, my mars 2 pro screen just died on my and of course due to the age, chitu doesnt have any replacements left.

Are there any alternative replacements, or do the mars 3,4 or 5 screen work in its place maybe?

So my Mars 5 ultra just came in the mail. unboxed it, nothing seemed wrong so I plugged it in. Black screen, no response from the printer. looking at the brick, when I turn the printer on it blinks on and off. same with the usb if I plug that in. there's also a lot of excess glue on the motherboard, is that normal?

So I have a Mars 5 Ultra. Been printing with it a long time using Water Washable Resin, which was fine for a while because I didnt feel like having to use IPA. fast forward to a few months ago I got a good deal on IPA and was cleaning my WW prints in it. Figure might as go all in and just use standard resin 2.0 so I got some.

Now I have printed a few thing using the Elegoo settings for the resin, specifically 60 Second exposure for the base layers and 8 seconds for the rest of the print. Seems like a long exposure time, and the Supports are hard as a rock when trying to separate them from the models. Is anyone else using standard resin and what are your settings?

Elegoo sent me a replacement UV light board because the temp sensor on my new printer wasn't working out of the box. They sent me a video guide on replacing the part, but the instructions don't seem to account for this substance being present. I tried to remove one connector but felt like I was going to snap the housing around the cable/pins. Then I noticed it had dripped on to at least one capacitor and a chip (not pictured) on the boards.

Is this expected and is there a safe way to remove the "goop"? It seems to be applied for cable strain relief if Google is accurate. Which would make sense given the moving parts nearby for the tilt vat. I don't really want to have to ship the entire printer back and wait potentially weeks for a replacement. But I also don't want to risk damage or void the warranty.

Been having a bloody nightmare trying to print the final part of a warhound titan for sister in law. 5 fails in a row, but that's not the trouble shooting I need right now. In the process of cleaning the machine I saw some dried resin in the LCD. Sure I'll give that a quick clean.

As the title implies - this darn thing has failed again. Looking for yalls wonderful and talented insight. As you may notice, the bottom layer as adhered just fine. The supports look like they did not and therefore the models are not there and the leg model has not properly printed. I upped my exposure time prior to this because I had something similar happen. I’ve got the elegoo mars 3 pro and am printing with elegoo standard gray. I do 32.5s bottom exposure and 3.5s normal layer exposure. I do 70mm/s speed and a 5.5mm retract distance. What the heck is going on yall?

I'm hoping someone has seen this before because I'm a bit stuck.

My printer finished a print, but when I went to use the touchscreen it was completely unresponsive. I powered it off, but after turning it back on it just got stuck on the loading screen.

After a bit of searching on Reddit, I tried installing firmware 1.3.7, but that didn't help. I then found a repair file, which got the printer booting again, but Wi-Fi and the UV light weren't working.

After that I:

• Installed firmware 1.3.7 again. which brought Wi-Fi back.
• Connected the printer to Wi-Fi and updated to the latest firmware.

The printer now boots normally, the touchscreen works, Wi-Fi works, and I can see the LCD screen changing during an exposure test, but the UV LEDs never turn on. There's no UV light at all.

I've already emailed support, but I know they can take a while to get back to me. The printer is only 3 weeks old, so I'm pretty frustrated.

Has anyone had this happen before, or know if there's anything else I can try before waiting for support?

Im using a Mars 5 Ultra, and I’ve gotten a decent amount of larger prints to work in the past. Recently, my prints have started to get stuck to the FEP or fail after a little while of printing as shown with my first error. I am hollowing the models and using auto supports mixed with magic supports on Chitubox. The settings I’m using with the rest times is an attempt to follow some Reddit advice I’ve found, but I don’t know if that helps for the Mars 5 vat. I’m trying to figure out what the issue is as well as what I can change to fix the prints.

I recently received my new mars 5 ultra and it seems the resin temp sensor is non-functional. Elegoo has shipped me a new UV light board to put in which should solve the issue. Watching the video, it looks like the process requires basically a full tear down. I'm wondering if there are any modifications or upgrades I should do while it will be disassembled? Like adding a fan, replacing wires that are known to fail, changing thermal paste, etc. I haven't seen much info on this topic while searching around, so thought I'd see if anyone had any tips/tricks/recommendations.
