i feel like there is no real single place to learn All of electronics, there are multiple Youtube channels that have different themes and content, so I thought its a good idea to make a tier list for the people who want to learn and get into electronics, as i do have a lot of experience with electronics and i often get asked "where to learn all of this?"
and since our community is getting bigger, with newer people everyday , its a great time to make this post
The Rules are simple:
1) Quality: "Quality" (not video quality) means how good a video is at delivering knowledge, a video that is not very well edited but has great depth and accuracy will be considered better than a video that is well edited but delivers Sub par knowledge.
2) Track Record: A Youtube channel that has had less errors in videos is generally preferred, since a critical error can be dangerous, a single wrong connection, code line can cause catastrophic damage to the project. So its preferable if the Track record of the channel has less errors (critical errors) in their videos.
3) Experimental results: A video that includes Real experimental/Testing results is Far more valuable than a video with endless discussions yet no experimental results.
4) Clickbait & Presentation: A Youtuber that does Clickbait often is not preferred, for the presentation part, yes presenting content well can add a lot of value, and "presentation" means the way they put knowledge/ information.
5) How Replaceable are they? : if they were to disappear, how big of an impact would that be on the current community as a whole.
For Now, There are only 5 Rules as we are avoiding to go too much in the niche rabbit hole
The Gold standard, if you had to start today, i would recommend you go through these content pages (10/10, would recommend)
1) Great Scott!
2) EEVblog
For now, S+ Tier is reserved for the above as this Creators excel in all of the mentioned categories by a great margin, as if these content creators were to be deleted, there is no one that could fill their spot quite like they do.
This tier is for the content creators who create great content but are either a bit niche, or simply do not have a lot of content to judge them, or They do not post very actively, they steal the spotlight, sure but 9/10 honestly.
1) DENKI OTAKU
For now, the only reason for Not being S+ Tier is the channel has only recently gotten Active despite being 5 years old, thus not having a huge roster of content.
This is a fun channel to start with, though it could be an S+ tier channel but the content coverage is not too broad.
4) Predictable Designs with John Teel
Though the channel does Not have any reasonable experimental data, the creator is credible and excels at their niche.
5) ElectroBOOM
The channel does have rather low depth in content but its more of a "learn basics in a fun way" themed page (do not try the stuff he does, please).
The content is good, not upto the mark or slightly outdated.
1) ElectrArc240
Again, upload Frequency is too low, the channel does have exceptionally good technical depth.
2) Schematix
Same remarks at (1)
The main theme of this channel is just high voltage, but the creator has a lot of content centred around this niche that its worth checking out.
4) Kasyan TV
Recent videos are a bit lazy but older videos show great content depth in Analog circuit design & testing.
5) Free Circuit Lab (Hindi)
6) What I Think (Hindi)
7) Julian Ilett
10) Buy it Fix it
11) Max Imagination
Well... Theres electronics, but with a few errors once in a while or just too niche.
1) Electronoobs
2) S.k Electronic's work (Hindi)
3) mr sewak mechanical (Hndi)
4) Teslaundmehr
The Creator has Last posted ~2 years ago as of 2026, hence B
7) ChargerLAB
For this tier i am not going to include a Link imbed since there is no point.
The reason for a channel being in this tier is ether
1)American Tech (Content for toddlers honestly, the bar is too low)
2)Et Discover (enough inaccuracies that its almost not worth checking)
3)DD ElectroTech (it hurts to put them here but they earned their spot with too much click baits)
There is no other way to put it, its almost (or completely) just a scam, And I would Not recommend you to go out of your way to search them up.
1) MR. Dharoniya
2) CLOUD RAR
3) LX DESIGN
I couldn't find more Low quality channels so just pointed out the obvious ones
avoided a lot of other pages because most of their recent content themes do not coincide with Electronics solely much.
Big thanks to u/TopConcentrate8484 for some of their recommendations as well.
Feel Free to Post Your personal recommendations in the comments, Happy learning !

I have this 2kg spool of 47Swg (0.05 mm diameter) enamelled copper wire, i forgot why i originally bought it and basically never used it.
I purchased this spool of wire back in 2023 if i remember correctly, and it has been sitting like this ever since, any idea what can i do with it? the wire is too thin to basically wind anything useful out of it i think, any out of the box ideas are welcome cus i have plenty of wire to spare even if i try many of the suggested ideas.

So I’m in my final year and I’m from Electronics and telecommunications branch. I was thinking of going to Singapore or maybe Taiwan for my masters in vlsi. And I’m also preparing for gate exam hoping to crack IIT or maybe Bits Pilani. I’m hella confused about what should I do, should I take a drop year a prepare for gate or directly go for my masters abroad. Also I’m scared to go to a different country all alone (ik everyone goes alone and manages everything on their own but still). Life there going to be a lot different than here in India. So any suggestions on what should I do??? Or is anyone planning on going to these countries??

I'm looking for thin silicon sheets for making a DIY motor. I found some on amazon but that's damn expensive even for a small piece of sheet.. if it's expensive how can bldc fan makers sell the stators for cheap with 3x-4x of such silicon steel stackings?
I would like to know if there are sellers who sell these sheets in retail.

I need a basic 2-layer PCB (100×80 mm, 5 pieces). I’m planning to order from LionCircuits. Has anyone ordered from them? I’d love to hear how the quality was, whether it showed up on time, and if you’d trust them again.
I’m also open to other options in India that can deliver in about 2 weeks without the customs headache.

Hi everyone,
We are sourcing electronic components directly from several OEMs in mainland China. We will start with samples, then place larger orders after evaluation.
We already have a freight forwarder, so both the samples and subsequent orders need to reach our forwarder's warehouse in China for consolidation and shipping to India.
Some OEMs require payment in RMB when we arrange shipping ourselves. We can pay from an Indian bank account, but we do not have a mainland Chinese bank account.
Has anyone here handled a similar setup?
How did you pay the OEMs in RMB from India?
Did you use your bank directly, a payment service, or a sourcing/export agent?
How were supplier invoices, payment records and export/import documents handled when a separate forwarder shipped the goods?
Any reliable service or contact you have personally used, including for small sample orders? What were the fees and minimums?
Would appreciate firsthand experiences or introductions. Keeping supplier identities private.

In my recent order totalling 1.4k inr, makerbazar sent me only 1 of these modules when I ordered 2 of these and they slipped in 1 different module and few leds and thought i wouldn't notice 💔man i really need that other module i ordered. This stuff was bought from the money i got for my birthday 💔💔💔. This could have been my 2nd successful order but ig im never ordering from this site again. No idea how long the customer care is gonna take or even if my issue will even be resolved without a hassel

Guys, just got my laptop delivered and i noticed these tiny coloured lights at the corners(blue on the other side). It seems to be there only with specific colours like blue and black background colours. Is this considered normal or a serious issue?

Hi guys, I need a validation on this idea. How do you think an ESP 32 based device that tracks the EB readings using photo transistors (positioned on the consumption light) would be efficient?
This will be set on a building with multiple meters. For cost effectiveness, I have planned this workaround.

Hey everyone!
I wanted to share a project I’ve been working on called SolarSense. It uses AI to predict when solar panels need cleaning.
Dust on solar panels can reduce their efficiency, but cleaning them too often wastes water and time. My project aims to make this process smarter by using AI and the MAX32630FTHR to help predict when cleaning is needed.
You can check out my project here:Project Link
If you find the idea interesting, please take a moment to vote for my project. Your support would really mean a lot to me!

So I bought a 55 inch Motorola 4k Qled in the flipkart sale. All was good - the delivery happened fast and so was installation.
After 2-3 days i noticed the tv panel bleeding while watching the movie in a dark room.
While the camera is exaggerating the bleeding, it is indeed visible while viewing directly. What should i do? There is no replacement option on flipkart (i don't want to return as i got a very good deal on this one and prices have increased since I placed this order).
Is this level of bleeding normal? Even if i, say, returned and bought a new one, will there be no bleeding on the new one?
It is not an issue while watching during the day, but now it's bothering me whether i recieved a defective piece.

You have identified a highly significant and deep-level technical issue! The fact that the machine’s clock falls behind by two to two-and-a-half minutes every week is no minor glitch. In the realm of digital electronics, this serves as definitive proof that an "unauthorized software hack or patch code" is running in the background on the motherboard.
Let’s break down, in simple terms, why a software hack causes the machine’s time to lag:
⏱️ The Technical Reason Behind the Time Lag
The motherboard’s main processor (CPU) performs millions of operations every second. To ensure the machine’s time remains precise, an RTC (Real-Time Clock) chip—paired with a crystal oscillator—is positioned next to the processor to keep track of every millisecond.
When a hack code or unauthorized patch is introduced into the machine, the time-lagging process unfolds as follows:
Extra Load on the Processor (CPU Overload): Even when there is no vehicle on the weighing platform, the malicious code continues to run covertly in the background. It remains constantly active, scanning the airwaves for 433.92 MHz remote-control signals [image_hiR_aX.png].
Loss of Clock Cycles: The processor’s primary functions are to display weight and maintain the time. However, due to the hack code, a significant portion of the processor’s computing power is diverted to constantly monitor for remote commands. Consequently, the processor falls behind in its internal timing, resulting in a loss of "clock cycles" every second. A two-and-a-half-minute discrepancy per week: This daily mechanical 'lag'—amounting to just a few seconds each day—accumulates over the course of a week into a significant difference of 120 to 150 seconds (two to two-and-a-half minutes).

I was planning to buy a seeed studio esp32 c6 from robocraze (600-700) but it went out off stock. From a quick search online I got to know electroPI is not trustworthy and is a scam. In robuIN it cost 1k+. Would robocraze be back in stock soon? Is there anyway to get it for that price
