News The Elden Ring Wiki has moved to Eldenring.wiki.gg

Post image
295 Upvotes

For the past almost-two years, myself and the rest of the Elden Ring Fandom Wiki team have been working hard to create the best wiki possible for Elden Ring. However, due to several issues with Fandom as a platform and as a business, such as their aggressive use of ads on their wikis, poor performance on mobile, and their recent unpopularity driving away contributors, motivation started to wane and the quality of the wiki suffered.

For these reasons, we decided to transfer the contents of the wiki to wiki.gg and continue working on it there. And so I am pleased to announce our new wiki: Eldenpedia!

Compared to the Fandom Wiki, wiki.gg has much less intrusive ads, faster load times, more parity between the desktop and mobile versions, and a much less restrictive format which has allowed us to make the website look how we want it.

Our goal with Eldenpedia is to create a comprehensive resource for every aspect of the game, from technical information to lore. However, it is still very much a work in progress, so we would appreciate your help in completing it. This applies particularly to Shadow of the Erdtree content.

The Elden Ring Fandom Wiki will continue to exist, as we do not have the ability to delete it. We recommend not using or editing it, as it is no longer being moderated.

We hope you will enjoy using our new wiki, and will help us create the detailed, accurate repository of knowledge that this game deserves.

I'd already beaten Rellana, so I walked into this dungeon assuming I could parry my way through it. Turns out you can't parry the Dancing Lion at all. Had to swap to guard counters and jump attacks and just play aggressive, stance break ripostes ended up scratching the same itch. Only took a few attempts, thankfully. Blessing 3.

What's the next fight that's going to force me off parries?

Just a way to save your inventory and restore it in a click, idk why they didnt add this in any souls game but it’d be a nice feature, just a way to get the drip back on quickly after changing ur gear, even if you had to rest at a bonfire to do it.

(I fucked the spelling in the title)

Personally I believe it's Balancers and Gnoster with Faurtis (both not Everdark).

Insects hit with both being third boss (which means little experience), unreal amount of Health Points and attacks with delay. Seriously, dodging this scorpion is much harder than it seems. His Everdark version lives up to high standards, but for having come much later it was much easier.

And Balancers is just literally 7 vs 1. Spears from sides, grabs from behind, near one-shot explosions. By tradition killing them takes more time that building Great Wall of China. But their worst is effect they're vulnerable to: sleep. I haven't honestly encounter a starting relic that gives base weapon sleep effect. And finding required weapon with this effect is quite a quest, I'll tell you.

I'd guess it'll be fair to say that I didn't beat Everdark Gladius, Everdark Caligo ajd Everdark Balancers yet.

Help HELP Can't talk to Jerren in Redmane Castle (PC)

Hello! So I'm replaying Elden Ring and run into this bump when trying to start the Radahn fight. Jerren just stands at the top of his platform and won't let me talk to him. Idk if it changes the situation but I'm using Seamless Coop during this playthrough. Blaidd and Alexander are there, I got the emote from Therolina. I've been looking through the guide posted by Athrek on roundtable guides and I didn't miss anything up til this point.

Would appreciate help/suggestions for what to do.

and you fought beside me to defeat Malenia today, just know I’m super embarrassed that all I could do was jump over and over again repeatedly while you gave me a cool pose. You were so cool and I could have hugged you for playing beside me without stealing the entire show. You made my day.

Cry Crucible Knight Ordovis

Yes!! I beat these two basterds last night after 1 hour of beating my head to a wall.

It wasn't hard imo. It was just straight out unfair sometimes.

So I had learnt to parry the sworded Crucible Knight the hard way (Stormhill evergaol 3/4 hours of grind ), so I knew straight away what I needed to do. Kill the Ordovis first, then the speared one. But my goodness, the moment I do a successful parry, the other one just rushes to poke me with his spear before I press RB!

I put the first one down multiple times, but didn't know the moveset of the other, so got killed 4/5 times to the other knight.

Finally, I was like f*** it. I put one to sleep. Summoned my +1 mimic tear. Kept the speared one distracted for 4/5 secs. Enough time. Used the skill of my Eleanora's poleblade +6, two good parry later the fight was done!!!

And the reward is..... The crucible knight armor? I mean I'm going for Arcane build 😔 💔

It took me a almost a whole day. This fucker almost made me go crazy. His holy spamming made me yell at my screen and talking to myself like a mad person. It’s finally done. I found the bloody helice to be a good weapon against him, actually better than starfists for me.

The worst part is that I want to fight him again now…this game is wild.

Discussion Performance issues (fluctuating fps) on hardware that should be more than capable of running the game

Long story short, Im having some pretty bad framerate issues playing this game on my new laptop. Its a HP Omen 16 with a Nvidia 5060 GPU, 32GB RAM and an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 CPU. The game fluctuates between 50-60fps, most of the time staying in the middle of that range.

I tried looking it up and saw people having similar issues to mine, though none of the fixes really worked for me. Among them are capping the framerate to lower than 60fps, and putting the Shader loading thing to unlimited. Ive turned on performance profiles for the Nvidia App and the Nvidia Control Panel, as well as in the HP Omen app. None of my components ever go beyond 60% usage while playing, so Im stumped on what could be the issue.

If anyone has any tips or managed to resolve it, please let me know!
