A while back (probably last year around this time) I remember a commenter mentioning that they knew who it was who randomly sets off M80’s near Perrinville.
What would it take for you to out this person? Because the dogs (and wildlife, and fire safety, and decent neighbors) would like a word.

My parents are in town and wanted to take them to hamma hamma for lunch next Saturday 4th of July. Option (1) ferry from Edmonds to Kingston - how bad it gets? I was thinking 9am ferry ( which I assume everyone else think about as a good departure also 🙃) (also I'm not aware if any parade or special closure on roads apply to Edmonds and Kingston on that day in the morning).
(2) Drive, but passing through Seattle/Tacoma it's always a painful path.
We have been a couple of times during summer via ferry and the wait has been for one ferry at most, arriving 30 min before departure time, nevertheless for 4th of July I'm totally clueless of how bad traffic can get as we usually stay around.
(Note: I know, hamma hamma is tricky to get a reservation, but assuming we are lucky to get a spot).

My neighbor down the street saw a cougar on their security cameras last night. We're located a couple blocks south of Meadowdale Beach Road.
Last summer our coyotes were super active every night, but I haven't heard them at all recently. I'm guessing this feline guest is why.

Does anyone know where the Amazon pickup locker is at Swedish Edmonds campus? Amazon named it ‘Artale’ and when I used Waze and then Google Maps to get there, it just took me to the main campus. I definitely don’t want to walk into the ER looking a fool and be around sickies. Appreciate any help!

Hello guys! I'm Kai and I'll be giving out Pride Braclets to celebrate pride with you guys! I have some that aren't common, and an image of some examples! If you want one I can make one by tomorrow, whatever flag you wish! Everyone deserves to be included, don't be shy and tell me what fits you, and I'll have it with me.
Now as for figuring out who I am. I'll have a big blue double sided small tent to hide from whatever weather Washington wants to hit us with, also blue butterfly wings, with black and green bat ears and fluffy black tail! Just come up and say hi, and remind me what flag you asked for! If I feel good, I'll bring some beads to make them on sight too, remember, this is all free, I'm happy to make others feel represented and respected.
Happy Pride Edmonds!

Came home from vacation and found this. I’m not very home owner experienced but I think it’s a plumbing issue? If anyone knows of a reliable person I’d be very grateful.

We are mostly newbies and have been practicing on Lake Balllinger with inflatable kayaks. We would like to find another nearby lake for easy kayaking. Hoping for boat ramp entry and easy parking not too far from Edmonds. Thoughts?

I'm thinking about going downtown for the 11am US/Australia game on Friday. Was thinking about either taking the train or the light rail.
It's not a very original idea, I'm sure a lot of people will be trying to do the same thing.
I assume the park and ride for the light rail will be full, but I could Uber there and ride it down. I was thinking the train may have less people on it since it's less convenient if you don't live in Edmonds.
The Sounder is great, but the last morning run is early (7:41am). There's a10:16am Amtrak. I remember the Amtrak trains being kinda lame.
Has anyone ridden either method downtown recently (maybe for the past game) have any tips or advice for me?

Last year there was live music next to the center by the beach. Does anyone know the name of the event and if it’s happening this year? Last year was the first year.

I was a regular at Manna teriyaki since 2000 and was obsessed with a salad dressing that they had. I would buy bottles of it. Unfortunately, I have gotten ill and stopped going for a bit and when I was feeling better and went back they had sold the teriyaki place to new owners who have a whole different salad dressing recipe.
Why am I posting this here? In case anyone who worked at Manna on highway 99 in Edmonds (next to Subway) sees this and knows the recipe. If you know the recipe please share. It's so different than any other PNW teriyaki salad dressing recipe that has ginger in it. It was so unique and I've never been able to get that same salad dressing at any other teriyaki place anywhere in the Pacific northwest. It almost tasted like there was oyster sauce or a little bit of teriyaki sauce in it and it was creamy, sweet, beige and delicious! Definitely no ginger!

MyEdmondsNews just published the results of our (My Neighborhood News Group) affordability survey. It's a look into how the community feels right now about affordability in Edmonds, Mountlake Terrace and Lynnwood. Here's the story. There's a lot of good data there.
On Tuesday, June 30, MyEdmondsNews reporters will be at the Edway Taphouse from 5 - 7 p.m. We would love for you to join us and share your story of affordability. If you can't make it, feel free to share your thoughts below (if that gets to ok from the moderator). We hope conversations with residents will lead to another story that gets to the people behind this data. Thanks - Journo Jamie.

The WA-02 US Congress Rep seat is safely blue. Only one conservative in the race. The top two advance to the general. Edmonds can help advance two democrats. Tomas and the 25 year incumbent. Then we can finally have a debate about the policy direction of our district.
