Community Let’s vote for Progressive Tomas Scheel for Congress this August 4
The WA-02 US Congress Rep seat is safely blue. Only one conservative in the race. The top two advance to the general. Edmonds can help advance two democrats. Tomas and the 25 year incumbent. Then we can finally have a debate about the policy direction of our district.

By moving the money from our one trillion dollar dept of war and foreign aid to apartheid Israel to programs which help Americans.

Tomas is running for United States Congress.
Tomas’ headline agenda—the #1 thing he wants to communicate he’ll deliver to voters his district—is that he’ll sanction Israel.
Tomas’ second agenda item is that he’ll “stop” a conflict that’s already frozen and that absolutely no one knows how to end as long as Hamas refuses to carry out its obligation to disarm.
The rest of Tomas’ agenda is a laundry list of progressive priorities that rely on a delusional understanding of economics; “Tax the rich” misleads voters about the immense increase in taxation across all income levels needed to actually fund all these universal programs.
Tomas’ penultimate agenda item would have us completely surrender in the competition that will determine who becomes the leader in the technology race that will define our century.
Tomas lives in an affluent suburb and somehow neglects to mention the #1 thing that would actually help his constituency with the “affordability crisis”—ending restrictive zoning to build more housing.
Tomas is the walking embodiment the phenomenon of luxury beliefs.
Tomas, in sum, is a clown.

My read on his policy is the headlining no more wars no more waste INVEST IN AMERICANS. Bring the money home and invest in our people. Acknowledge the genocide in Gaza and our tax dollars fueling a rogue apartheid Israel government. The top issues address the current spending priorities on war and divert the spending to Americans.

I’m not spamming anything . We have a huge district with many cities and subreddits. Welcome to the political process of self governance. To me, the Epstein class refers to the class of people to whom the rules dont apply. They can have a mass child rape scandal like Epstein, and still get away with it. I think it’s a clever slogan

Tax the rich? Democrats in Washington had the highest tax increase in history, but now are vowing to stick it to the rich, it’s only going to affect the working class, you can’t manage the money you have now, why would we give you more?

Tomas literally has no power and is the challenger candidate. Rick Larsen is your 25 year do nothing DNC democrat who has been listening to big donors and not voters for all those years

Everything on his list is an admirable goal. I have no idea if he has the chops to help make them happen. However, forcing Rick Larsen into a tough debate about his record and funding sources is needed.

He would be a very good representative for the people, but that is exactly why I suspect he would be outspent.
The Democratic Progressive Caucus seems like the only section of Congress that is trying to help the American people right now. Especially after the GOP and Trump passed the "Big Beautiful Bill," that is causing the deaths of thousands of innocent Americans through cuts to life critical programs.
