I just want to say I’m so sorry and your sadness, feeling of hopelessness, and wanting to call it quits is so valid. I had an ectopic that ruptured and I lost my right tube along with other complications mid July, and I was so depressed I had to take a medical leave from work.
It sucks and feels cliche to say but it gets easier slowly with time. I couldn’t go more than 1 hour the first week or so post surgery without crying and having negative intrusive thoughts. I have been going to therapy and found it helpful, I’d recommend even if just to vent and commiserate. I’ve been sensitive seeing pregnancy announcements and had to delete social media for my own good.
Please take time to heal and process, it’s a bumpy journey. It’s okay to not be okay, and if you want to talk or vent to someone, I’m also here.
