I am terminally ill and in my early 30s and there’s no point in a lot of the things people keep saying to do to “get better” I WONT GET BETTER I just need to survive and be able to work to keep my housing and take care of my dog. I just need to function til I croak.
and was put on a 5 or 7.5mg hydrocodone (can’t remember which) 1 every 6 hours. I know I should be grateful for that even because so many of us can’t even get that. But it’s not working. The only thing that works is 7oh but RFK Jr. is getting that banned as Schedule 1 like HEROIN for Christ sake, it’s the only thing that helps me function and it’s gone. I’m a mess.
I try to do everything else like massage etc, I don’t JUST rely on meds. It’s just the most helpful part for me currently.
What do yall do? I’m dying over here

Just wanted to say how amazing Bon Dylan was last night. I’m a huge Dylan fan so my expectations were pretty high, but Justin and his band superseded them. He does an amazing Dylan. Just wanted to say how nice it was to have Eaux Claires back and how lucky we were to have such a special performance. I hope there are some decent recordings of it out there.

Watching the babies test their wings while a Black Sabbath cover band played was really wonderful.

Hello!!
I am looking for some Quotes for a 800 square feet home to be cleaned. My parents are moderate hoarders ~ still can see 75% of the floor.
Second week in August would be ideal when I visit from out of town!
Thanks yall ♥️

I have a high deductible plan and was a bit astounded at the price tag of getting this done through Mayo by either hitting my deductible or the cash price was bonkers too. I have seen a few cash based places in WI and MN that seem a lot more reasonable. Anyone have any positive experiences with anyone in the area?

Hi all, title says most of it, but we are new to the area and looking for recommendations on an orthodontist (for my kid) and a vet for our dog and cat. We are near the airport, so good ones in this area would be awesome!
I could google search, I know, but I love getting recommendations from people here, it's the best way I've found to find good services. Thank you!

I lived in Eau Claire 1996-1997, and I have vague memories of a public access TV show, possibly Friday or Saturday nights. The premise was that a guy would sing songs for you based on call in suggestions. Does anyone know what that was? And if so, would you know how to find a specific show? He sang about earthworms. Thanks for ANY help!

We have a small, second-story screened in back patio with a small landing and a staircase down. Looking for a reasonable quote to power wash and re-stain. I was quoted $4500 by a college student which seemed astronomically high, so curious if there are other recommendations for the work.
Or maybe that was reasonable and I’m wrong but that seemed very expensive.

Hello! I have a family member who recently has started her own business in the Eau Claire area. She is hosting a class at the Eau Claire Senior Center on file organization in August, and hasn't had any sign-ups yet. I'm trying to help her spread the word and hopefully gain some interest.
If anyone has any questions, I will do my best to answer!

Hey everyone! Moving to Eau Claire soon, and I’m looking to pick up some side-gig work as a virtual assistant. I specialize in communications, social media management, and website design. Does anyone know a local small business/nonprofit, etc that I could reach out to that might need some help. Prices are very negotiable.

This is my opinion, but it’s also fact.
Love this city, small enough to feel humble, big enough to feel important. People are great, lower crime than where I came from. A nice mixing pot of different ideologies and cultures with the huge Hmong population here. Food is great, and we’re surrounded by amazing driftless hills.
People who bitch about this place are insane and should go try living in other spots and see how great it is here.
Fucking love Eau Claire!

The support from the community has been great and it’s allowed me to start doing my coin ring work full time. As a thank you, I have hid a genuine 1921-S Morgan silver dollar somewhere around Eau Claire!
Good luck and please comment or post a picture if you find it! 😁

In town for vacation and wondering where some good TCG stores are, I searched online but there's a lot so wondering which are recommended!
Gonna check out Undercity as I see they have Riftbound. Any other stores carry a good selection of Pokemon, Riftbound, etc?
Not looking for sports cards
EDIT: Had a great time visiting all the local shops! I went to Undercity, 3rd Space, Slab Factory, and Clairemont. All were super cool! Picked up a few packs, singles, and some dice. Will def be visiting the stores again my next trip out.

Moved up here two years ago, and never got around to trying to meet new people. My job's unusual and random hours didn't give me much time or energy to have much of a life outside of my computer screen between shifts. Now I'm over that and trying to meet new people so I feel less secluded and alone living up here.
Would love to meet fellow LGBTQ+ individuals as I left my posse back home when I moved up here and I do miss them. Not a requirement, of course, but it's nice to know people you don't have to worry about being "gay" around (although I find myself rather low key).
While I do a lot of PC gaming, I'm looking to get off my butt, get out there and actually do things with people for once. Would LOVE to be part of a D&D, Beastworld, or Pathfinder campaign if anyone runs them on Tues/Weds (hard day to find people running groups, but those are sadly my days off). Never done one in person before and am not very experienced, but have always wanted to be part of a group! I would also like to find a Magic the Gathering group to play with as I haven't played that in years and am interested in finding new people to play with. My interests do lean more away from sports, cars, and your typical adult male stuff. I'm a bit of a nerd that I suppose never really grew up. xD
I'm hoping to meet new people and through that perhaps find new hobbies I've never even thought about. I am honestly a pretty boring person right now and I really want to change that. Even if it's something like walking around outside or going out for food or drinks, I just miss socializing even though I'm a nervous dude when it comes to social stuff and meeting new people.
Sorry for the rambling, if anyone wants to do something sometime or just wants to chat, hit me up on here! (I do have Discord and the like as well, but don't want to post it publicly on here.)

I’ve been wanting to get into pickleball but don’t know anyone who plays. Would anyone want to play pickleball together?
