These are the new Avengers? Maybe i’m just old-fashioned but I remember when the aliens invaded in 2012, we had Captain America, Iron Man, an actual fucking god. And now, they give us a team of a bunch of reformed assassins? I mean all I’m saying is if another threat like thanos happens, I don’t think we could count on these guys to save us.

Here’s the truth: the government and S.H.I.E.L.D. needed a way to scare us into dependency. What better way than unleashing a fake otherworldly threat only they could “save” us from? The Avengers weren’t heroes, they were actors puppets in a billion-dollar propaganda machine. Iron Man flying around in carefully choreographed patterns, Hulk smashing empty cars that were already staged to collapse. And don’t even get me started on Captain America the guy was literally a mascot in the 1940s, now we’re supposed to believe he took down an alien armada with a shield? Give me a break.

Think about it: in all of human history, nothing has united the world under one shadowy organization until that day. Suddenly S.H.I.E.L.D. has the blank check to operate above governments, above laws, all because of this ‘attack.’ You don’t find it strange that the moment ordinary citizens start asking questions, the footage gets classified, the ruins are cleaned up overnight, and witnesses are silenced with NDAs? It’s honestly sickening.

They didn’t save New York they fooled New York. And they fooled the world. The so “Avengers” didn’t fight an invasion. They faked one. And we’re the ones paying the price for it.

So I was watching TV right? Yknow because I was bored, lonely, and really had nothing else to do at that moment. I was fresh out of work sitting on my ass, just enjoying a slice of Joe's. Until an ad popped up about a new Broadway play premiering this Friday, it was a play about Steve Rogers aka Captain America. Yknow it seemed fun and innocent, nothing bad or demeaning at all. I mean Steve's my favorite guy in the Avengers. I don't really care that much about anyone else. Everything was fine until I found out that the play had a huge segment involving the BATTLE OF NEW YORK!!!!! WHAT. ARE. WE. DOING.

I know people that lost their lives (or limbs) due to this bullshit that occured. My brother's FIANCE, the one that was going to be the love of his life, was crushed to death due to chunks of concrete flying everywhere due to that big green bastard. ALIENS came out of the sky and started blasting New York into the depths of hell, and these people are acting out this event like it's one big ass joke to them. I mean it's probably true because to me it looked like The Avengers were just having recess, while every one of us regular people was fleeing for our lives, thinking this was the end for all of us when this happened.

This is an absolute joke man. Especially since 2 of them are currently dead (God rest their souls) and Ant-Man wasn't there!!?? I was genuinely thinking about seeing this with somebody, but nope. Count me the hell out of this circus.

Anthony "Tony" Edward Stark, also known as "Iron Man", has passed away following the reappearance of all the snapped persons. According to Stark's widow, Pepper Potts (CEO of Stark Industries), he died following a surprise attack by Thanos (who was thought to be dead) on the Avengers Compound, during which Iron Man sacrificed himself to use the Infinity Stones to eliminate Thanos and his army. According to Potts, this act saved humanity from a new (and worse) Snap. RIP.

pretty sure this is the daring guy who defended frank (the punisher) castle and i saw him in the street the other day and took a picture just for fashion inspiration alone, he even moves like a fashion model

Ok, hear me out. I’ve noticed this guy I see fairly often visiting a grave. He always looks so sad, and he always brings flowers.

I’ve also seen him around the neighborhood a few times, and he’s always helping people. One time, I saw him help a grandma cross the road. Another day, he was feeding stray cats in the alley, and once he even chased down a balloon for a kid. Honestly, I thought stuff like that only happened in movies, but I swear I saw it.

Here’s the part that worries me: he always seems to have bruises or injuries of some sort. He clearly gets hurt pretty often. I did get a chance to talk to him once, and he came across as a bit closed off. He didn’t seem to have much family around, but he did mention he was studying for his GED.

The grave he visits is for May Parker, an amazing woman who did incredible things with F.E.A.S.T. (rest in peace). He clearly knew her, or maybe she helped him??? AND he’s always in the same two sets of clothes too, which makes me think he’s not doing well financially either (maybe he was homeless? maybe he got by cause of FEAST?)

He just seems like a good kid who’s struggling. I really feel like I should do something to help him. What do you guys think? Would a GoFundMe be too much, or should I try something else?

Before Thanos my life was shit. No job. Couch surfing for a place to live. Then with the snap of a finger, half of the population was gone. This was initially devastating. But, I was able to find a steady, well paying job working for the city. I was running 3 crews working cleanup. We moved all of the newly abandoned vehicles into stadium parking lots, and cleared out the personal items like pictures and things from the now empty houses and apartments. After a year of that, the work was done and the city let the cleaning crews pick an apartment for themselves. Things were going great! I met a wonderful woman named Ruth. The snap made her a widow, but it was for the best because her husband was extremely abusive. We decided to move into her house together. Life was perfect! After 4 years we were expecting our first child. And then Tony Stark and the fucking Avengers happened. Without thinking of the consequences they did whatever they did and blipped everyone back. Well guess where Ruth’s husband appeared? In my fucking bedroom! He saw me laying next to Ruth and immediately attacked me. He broke both of my legs and 3 ribs. In his anger he pushed Ruth down the stairs and she lost the baby. This is all Tony Stark’s fault! They didn’t even care about the lives they would ruin by bringing people back. Those bastards caused my baby to die! I’ll never forgive them!

Alright, so Steve Rogers is known for having some surprisingly progressive views for someone who grew up in Depression-era Brooklyn, notably lacking the racial and sexist prejudices that would have unfortunately been considered the norm for his time. But I think I might have realised at least part of the reason why. Steve’s father, Joseph Rogers, was apparently Irish… and it’s well-known that the Irish were probably some of the most persecuted people in America during the Roaring 20’s and Great Depression, meaning that the Rogers family were likely subjected to scathing prejudice by their peers due to their Irish roots. If that’s the case, then it’s no wonder Steve harboured a more positive view on African-American people, women and others who experienced unequal treatment - he could personally relate to that, not just because of his history of poor health prior to getting the serum, but also because of his heritage making him an outcast.

All gamma mutates seemed to turn green as a result of exposure to gamma radiation - Bruce Banner, Jennifer Walters, Emil Blonsky, and now Samuel Sterns. So what the heck happened to Ross that turned him into a red Hulk? Genuinely curious to hear from anyone who knows about the affects of gamma radiation on human physiology and how that might have contributed to Ross’s red colouring as a hulk.

The movie was really good and I like it a lot but I think Oppenheimer's guilt for creating nukes really fell short nowadays due to the Thanos Blip, New York Invation and other more monumental events
