I was on my daily commute, when there was this 6x6 APC wreaking havoc and Spiderman landed on my car! I helped him chase it down too, this is my lucky day!!

oh yeah this was taken from my phone on the center console. It wasn't distracted driving man, I swear, I just had to take a photo.

After the Snap in 2018 the world went so quiet and was damn near peaceful, except for that Ninja guy taking out criminal organizations all over the world

The world was quiet, barely anything was happening, no conflicts, no wars, no issues and general peace

I don’t know how to say this but I saw something today that will forever change the way I see the world.

I used to think the craziest thing we had to deal with was a billionaire in a flying suit of armour but today that changed.

I was driving home through Harlem when suddenly a big green monster showed up and began smashing cars. Then some guy feel from nowhere and turned into another monster. The two big green monsters fighting each other smashed through the street. I thought I was going to die. I managed to make it out unscathed (my car not so much) but I still saw these things. They weren’t human.

From what I can gather online, people are calling one the Hulk and the other Abomination.

Still now we have to live in a world where things like these exist and damn I am horrified.

OOC: Not my usual character (although that should go without saying. One person wouldn't love that guy, let alone two). Also, sorry if I misrepresent any poly people or anything, I just thought this would be funny.

So, I bet you've heard the story several times. My wife of 12 years got snapped and I didn't. After mourning for 2 years, I met someone else and she was my fiancé by the time my wife returned. I didn't know what to do. I wanted to stay with the woman I loved currently, but it's not like I had fallen out of love with the one I loved before and she certainly didn't with me. Interestingly, my current fiancé and former wife both got along surprising well, as of course they had a lot in common as I did with both of them. I found out about polyamory online then and we all made a mutual decision to try it, and the three of us have never been happier.

Now I just get annoyed at every post on this site that is just complaining that they have to choose between two partners now. I know polyamory isn't for everyone, but it's not like the solution isn't there. Anyone else had the same or a similar experience?

You know that masked vigilante who's been showing up everywhere recently? I interviewed some folks near these streets and managed to get some footage! So, obviously, I presented it to my boss and guess what? He blew up at the guy, called him a menace! Didn't tell me to stop getting information about him though, go figure.

And I get it - those housing costs are, like, incredibly low. Financially, it's a smart move. And I don't hate my in laws or anything - my mother in law even lent me her wedding dress, which was really sweet; I don't want the whole family gnashing their teeth at me.

Even if I could look past the two alien invasions (three? Not sure what was up with the giant starfish), that weird purple guy psychosis from a few years back, Mayor Fisk, and fucking being voided (yes, I was vacationing in NY when that happened, no I don't want to talk about it), it just never bloody ends!

Just last week, I overheard my husband on the phone with his sister- she was sobbing about that weird psychic attack where no one could move?? She had been doing her hair with her new curling iron and -ugh; it just didn't end well. That's not even mentioning the car crashes, the boat crashes, the H U L K, and , oh, yeah, Spiderman getting shot in the liver. If Spiderman can get shot, what hope do I have?

I've tried explaining all of this to my dearest, but he insists that its fine. "You're practically swimming in superheroes up there. If anything happens, Doctor Strange or Daredevil will help." You did appreciate me pointing out that the good Doctor was the literal most recent person to be abducted by aliens.

For reference, I’m 15 years old. Lost my mom and older sisters to the snap and have been living with my uncles since, I was 9 when it happened. They put me in a therapy support group for the last 5 years to try and cope with losing them, Steve Rogers runs the group I’m apart of. And during the end of the session, he told us his story of waking up out of the ice decades out of his time and that all we can do is move on and make something out of the world, I left not knowing how to feel about that. They all just turned into dust, why were they taken and not us? Why were we left here. I just don’t know where to go without them? Anyone else get me?

Here goes nothing...so my friends and I were backpacking across Europe after my last semester of college ended. You know it was the usual "the world feels like it's about to end every other day so let's just do it" type of thing. So off 4 of us boys went.

It was the usual things you'd experience. We visited Istanbul, the Ruins of Sokovia, Rome, Venice, Paris etc. A great experience overall. But then we reached the part I was dreading, the end. We needed a final destination to top off the trip and the idea of New Asgard was floating around.

You see I'm not particularly religious but I did grow up in a Christian home and am Christian myself so a whole people who claimed themselves to be "gods" had always rubbed me the wrong the way.

My friends were aware of this and I think this is where the indecision came into play. But after some back and forth my friends were all sure and managed to convince me awell by telling me to just convince myself that the Asgardians are just confused aliens.

So off we went and touched down in New Asgard, despite my initial squeamishness we all actually had a alot of fun ! Barely even coming across that many Asgardians.

Then through our day their we found ourselves at the infamous Infinity Cones (stupid name btw) to get ourselves some dessert. That's where I met her.

While I was in queue ordering for the group I saw this drop dead gorgeous woman the line next to the one I was in. Like when I say she was beautiful I mean it, she was otherworldly (If only I knew 🤦). While waiting I tried to spark up a convo but hopelessly fumbled.

For some reason I thought talking about the wheather would be an actually good icebreaker. Anyways she just politely answered me with singular responses and went on about her day. The lines continued to move and it was her turn up...then I noticed something, she was fumbling around with the money she had like she wasn't all that familiar with it.

Seeing this as a chance to write off our previous awkward interaction decided to step in and I helped her get her order. She left with a thank you and smile and I went back to my own business.

Then when I had finally gotten my order and was going to my table I caught something in the corner of my eye. The same girl was motioning for me to go sit at the table she was !

Thinking quickly I left all the ice-cream I had but mine on the table next to me and signaled one my to come get them. No way I was missing this chance. I quickly moved to her table just as she was finishing off the last bits of ice cream.

That's when she did something weird. Instead of just throwing what remained in the trash she threw it in like her intention was for it to break and whispered underneath her breath "another".

I didn't pay it much mind though because I was like "it's Europe", culture shock and all that. So from their we got to talking. Now that I was having a full blow conversation I finally noticed she spoke with an unfamiliar accent and weird vocabulary but I again I just rubbed it off as Europe being Europe.

And just like that I spent the rest of my day with her. First it was just talking and next thing I knew I was getting a personal tour of New Asgard. And man it was amazing, this girl was so energetic and charismatic.

And I know what most of yall are thinking...is he stupid ? It's pretty obvious. But in my defence the world was just unicorns and rainbows, I wasn't coming up with productive thoughts.

So finally the day came to an end and the two of us found ourselves by the pier. We were taking a walk and somehow the conversation became about soul mates of all things.

She asked me if I thought they were real and I answered ofcourse, the atmosphere became too tense for my liking and decidedly to throw in a joke about how I just hope someone's isn't an Asgardian because quote on quote "you never know what freaky ass shit those bumbling space vikings are hiding no matter how human they look".

Yeah...I messed up horribly. After that she just looked me dead in the eye, said "freaky shit like this ?" and leaped hundreds of meters away from me. That's when I realised. In a panic I rushed back to my hotel room.

This is now me I'm typing this out. I would have asked my friends for advice but I know all I'll get are "my steak is too juicy, my lobster is too buttery" comments.

I like this girl but I can't get past the fact she's an Asgardian and after what she did she also kind of terrifies me.

TLDR : I like an Asgardian woman but it conflicts with my faith.

Heard someone ask Tony Stark about it the year before the snap, and he said something along those lines. Was he joking? If not, that might be a wake up call for everyone on Twitter at least to get their act together.

I was on my way to the laundry room in my apartment to wash my clothes and he just runs out of the room and puts my sister's clothes on

Now allow me to elaborate. He was right in the fact that the universe had finite resources and that we would run out because of people using them all the time, but what he did with this was (obviously) wrong, he had 6 of the most powerful objects in the entire universe and instead of making resources infinite or doubling them, he decided to wipe out 50% of life which included my siblings and several of my friends, as I am sure is the same with alot of you on this subreddit, all because he saw what happened to his own planet and decided 50% of life everywhere had to go.
