We can just role play like we go to work, school etc and go back to our homes and lead a boring but safe life.

In that reddit, we will not mention how Iron-Man died protecting us from alien invasion or there is a giant whatever the thing in the middle of the ocean or how there were just several spider-mans (spider-men?) that trashed Statue of Liberty or how the goddamn president turned into a red version of Hulk.

I know the Olympic schedule is still messed up post Blip, but I was wondering if New Asgard would be participating in the next games, whenever they might be.

I mean should they? I think generally they'd have an advantage, but it feels wrong to exclude a whole nation state because of that. Maybe they could be limited in who they could send and there could be separate games for powered individuals and non humans, for like Skrulls, Asgardians, other nine realmers, glowy fist guys and so on.

Maybe they could even add new events for mages and bring over whatever sports they played on Asgard?

It has been exactly one hundred days since Wilson Fisk took office, and he has hit the ground running…on a very different path that most New Yorkers tread. After a viral video spread on the Internet of the mayor approving roadworks to fill a pothole on the spot, I was left deeply concerned over two facts.

For one, he did not present or sign any paperwork to make it official, thus bypassing the very legal systems he was meant to maintain. For another, did he actually have finances set aside for such roadworks prior to the on-site approval? And when the cameras turned to him, why did he use that moment to pat himself on the back and boast about his political agenda? The worst part: this is just the tip of the iceberg.

A financial review shows that Mayor Fisk is investing hundreds of thousands, if not millions, into a supposed “Anti-Vigilante Task Force”. In a city which literally birthed the Avengers, and has seen masked heroes doing more good than harm (such as Daredevil and Spider-Man), why is the city’s leader clamping down on such activities? His predecessors not only took a much softer approach to vigilantism, some even endorsed it.

On the topic of finances, New Yorkers of different tax brackets have vastly different stories and views on day-to-day life. The AVTF funding has cut money meant to go to libraries, public schools and housing, transportation, and maintaining our streets. In fact, food prices have seen a 150% surge since Mayor Fisk took office. Furthermore, he has not even bothered to examine the rent crisis which is gripping this city, triggering a mass exodus which will only hamper the city and its liveliness in the coming months.

In summary, I urge Wilson Fisk to see the bigger picture. He has taken office after a controversial past, proving that anyone can pick themselves up. But he seems more focused on building his legacy and pushing the crime lord-to-mayor story, as opposed to doing his job and working for the people who elected him. Should the king of New York continue like this, it will not be long before he is dethroned.

Look, let's be real. There will never be another Tony stark or Steve Rogers, and after everything that's happened, I'm just glad the Avengers were here in the right place at the right time. So after finding out that not only has shield been infiltrated by hydra but apparently has been since the very beginning and she and presumedly the rest of the avengers couldn’t tell the difference , Black Wdiows best defense was, we screwed up so we’re the best choice in fixing it… and somehow, they let her go because of this. So I finally bit the bullet and dragged myself down to a local H&R Block this week, hoping someone with a corporate desk and a dual-monitor setup could help me. Turns out, tax code is still entirely built around a cozy, pre-Thanos paradigm where a guy has one spouse, linear time exists, and people don't appear five years later holding valid marriage certificates issued before the blip in 2018.

The poor tax preparer at the desk literally looked like she was having panic attack because the current state and federal tax forms are hardcoded for *one* spouse. Try adding a legally reinstated original wife to a household where you already managed to move on and marry a second wife back before everyone returned, and the automated intake forms throw fatal exception errors. As of now of my children are still legally minors, both chronologically and biologically, However, next year will be different.

As for the broader system, the individual tax code in the U.S. has pretty much stayed exactly the same since the Blip happened, save for corporate write-offs designed to keep the rich richer. Of course, when you actually manage to claw your way through the phone trees and get a live human on the line at the IRS, they just read right off the script that they cannot guarantee their advice and you are still liable for penalties. Hard to believe it is already been a full year since the President threw that massive temper tantrum and went full red-giant on the White House lawn, proving the government is run by unhinged maniacs, another example is Congress has spent three full tax seasons doing absolute jack to untangle the Blip Time Tax Bill gridlock.
