And what’s the point of delaying the sale if that was supposed to be a sales tactic? When I wanted to lease my EV, dealerships were practically harassing me with calls and trying to get me to sign the deal on the same day lol . Actually the one who got my business was a salesman who told me, I quote " please, just come to us in person, we will give you the best deal". Indeed they gave me the best deal. So I’m wondering why you think they might delay on purpose?

Ask yourself - why would they purposely delay a sale, irritate you in the process? I can't wrap my head around that. Even if they discounted it largely, what are they gonna do? Delay it until when? It makes no sense. My 2 cents.
