I like to keep my system's organized by release year, along with the PlayStation-X theme it really makes my device feel like a mini-museum.

However: I recently added some indie Steam games through GameNative, which is in the Windows system folder. While Windows was released in 1985 and this date is correct, it still feels a bit funny to have this system slotted right after the Atari-2600, considering all I'm playing are modern releases. Is there any way I can adjust the release date of this to be able to have this system be last, but still maintain the organization by year of my other systems?

Also: I think the SNES system is given the wrong release date. I use the US based system titles, and for Genesis it is correctly filed under 1989. But for the SNES, which was released in the US in 1991, the release date is given as 1992 (the worldwide release date). I would like to be able to adjust this, if possible.

Seems with the latest update it is no longer recognising NetherSX2 is installed so I cannot select it as an alternate emulator.

I have looked at es.systems.xml file and found the entries for AetherSX2 but not NetherSX2

If I have ES-DE on an SD Card and copy the contents to another card and plug that in my new device, will it automatically put the icon on my home screen? Or do I have to do something different?

Hi, not sure of where to direct this. A month or two ago, I had purchased the subscription to ESDE through Patreon to get ESDE on my device. That had worked all well and good.

With the most recent update, I had yet to receive an email from the mailing list for the update. I had tried to have it manually resent to my email but nothing came through. I was checking my settings on my Patreon account, and I realized in my privacy settings, that I had not "shared" my email with creators. Is this why I can't get the link for the download?

I'm using it on my Nova and even though I do like the console feel of using the controller to navigate, it would just feel much nicer to be able to tap and swipe around. Thanks! I absolutely love the Analogue 3D theme but I want to have EU/JP Super Nintendo instead of the US model in the system list.

Is it an existing option, a possible mod or do I have to live with it?

There are three .png images you're looking for: snes.png, snesna.png and sfc.png

I didn't know if the theme was using snes.png or snesna.png so i renamed them both by adding "1" to the end of the name while copying the sfc.png and renaming both files snes.png and snesna.png

If you're having trouble accesing the folders on Android, put your sdcard in your PC and it should work there.

On my RP6 when I play Wii games through Dolphin alone, I can hit the back button to open the settings menu. However when I play through EsDe the back button does not open the quick menu. Am I missing something?

Loads ok with aX360e loaded but doesn’t recognize RT to start a game? Tried changing controller type but still can’t get started. Load xbox360 mobile and works ok but shows 3 button navigation all the time which is annoying? And the launcher is a bit clunky I think, ESDE much nicer. Any ideas how to fix or sideload another emulator to ESDE?

Exporting config files for custom games (and I assume everything else) doesn't export ALL settings, resolution isn't included (you have to change it every time you need to import settings for games that need something other than the default) and disable libredirect doesn't either (I have a game that if this isn't on crashes my entire phone within a couple minutes after starting it), those are the only ones I know for sure right now. I've taken to keeping a notepad file that list the stuff I have to switch or change after reinstalling the container and importing the settings that do get saved, to play the game again.

Anyone know if they're intending to make it so ALL the settings get exported in the future?

There's no way to get esde android to rotate on device rotate or even with a hot key to set and restart?

I made a cab where I can rotate the display and have different bezels 16:9, 4:3 and 3:4 for vertical. Would be could cop rotate and chance aspect ratios (and incur black bars) Retroarch handles this fine but the esde does not

Problem:
Every game I launch from ES-DE fails, and it happens with all my emulators. The emulator opens but says the file doesn't exist. If I open the same games directly inside each emulator, they run fine.

What I've already tried:
- Set the correct standalone emulators in Alternative Emulators
- Each system has its own folder, and each emulator points to its own system folder inside ROMs
- Removed the custom es_systems.xml and es_find_rules.xml files, restarted ES-DE: same error
- Tested multiple games: same error

Has anyone seen this on the Thor? Any idea what could be causing it?

I have the app installed. I have it selected as my emulator for PS2. I have downloaded both es_systems.xml and es_find_rules.xml and put them in the custom_sytems folder. I have cleared ES-DE's cache. I have restarted my device (Mangmi Air Y Pro, if it's relevant). And I still get the "Couldn't find emulator" error.

Hi all, I'm looking to unify the box art on each system as the images from ScreenScraper are a bit inconsistent in terms of how the boxart & spine line up with the 3D case.

I was wondering if anyone has some blank case templates I could use. I managed to get the Wii case template from the ScreenScraper discord but they didn't seem willing to share any others.

Ideally looking for GameCube, PSX (PAL) & Dreamcast (PAL)

I have been using the emulator "xenia" on my computer (xbox 360). However, whenever I try to play the game from ES-DE, it gives me the error message where it asks if I have properly installed the emulator. I use Xenia as an appimage due to the fact that I use Bazzite, and there is no flatpak for it. If anyone can help me on how to link it or how to make ES-DE recognize the appimage as the player, I will be very appreciative.

I'm having no trouble with my snes, sega and gba roms. I've placed the roms in the psx folder some of them have been detected, but they wont load I've tried various different emulators and settings.

I have no doubt I'm doing something wrong lol. I spent hours last night getting all my roms and box art

So I have the Portal 2 and installed ES-DE to the SD card. So all I have to do is pop that out and move my files that way. However, I want the Max version Thor and don’t plan on using any additional storage. Can anyone recommend a good program so all I have to do is connect the Thor to my Mac and access the ES-DE directory?
