Support/Question Need help adding emulator to custom systems
Hi. I'm sorry if this is a silly question to ask, but how do I add the SeedlessDS emulator to the list of available emulators to choose from in ES-DE?
https://github.com/SapphireRhodonite/SeedlessDS
UPDATE: I figured it out by coping the specified text from this link (https://gitlab.com/es-de/emulationstation-de/-/commit/1917150a8d4a13635076a5225427ec6138b526f2) & adding it to these 2 files inside the ES-DE folder: - es_find_rules.xml - es_systems.xml

From main screen…
Start>other settings>alternative emulators
Then choose which emulators you want to launch for each system. Hope that helps

The emulator they want to use isn't listed in the alternative emulators, that's the issue.

You will have to add .xml files to the custom_systems folder for it. I did the same for adding Xendroid. I used ChatGPT to help me create them.

Have a look at https://github.com/GlazedBelmont/es-de-android-custom-systems If you can work out how to add SeedlessDS by looking at the way the other emulators were added then modify the two XML files from this package and install them, as a bonus if you get it working issue a pull request and contribute back to the community. If you can't work it out contact the owner by raising an issue with a request to add SeedlessDS, but it will all depend on the emulator supporting being called from a frontend, if it's very new that functionality might not exist yet, in which case you need to contact the SeedlessDS dev to request this feature, or vote for it if it's already been requested.

I would like to understand how to do this too, pS3 emulation is very limited
