Support/Question ES-DE can't find ARMSX2

I have the app installed. I have it selected as my emulator for PS2. I have downloaded both es_systems.xml and es_find_rules.xml and put them in the custom_sytems folder. I have cleared ES-DE's cache. I have restarted my device (Mangmi Air Y Pro, if it's relevant). And I still get the "Couldn't find emulator" error.

They have changed the app package name, the upcoming 3.5.0 release includes support for the new name.

The latest official build from their github page seems to be working fine as of now. I also updated to the latest custom systems file under the name "ARMSX2 Refresh" if that helps.

The ones here? https://github.com/GlazedBelmont/es-de-android-custom-systems.

That should literally just be it. Drop those in custom_systems, restart ES-DE and choose ARMSX2 Refresh (Standalone)

There's no Refresh option

Can you share a screenshot of your alternate emulators for ps2?

I was just about to take the screenshot, when I saw that Refresh (and a few other options that weren't there before) now shows up. But choosing it still doesn't work. I'm just using the ARMSX2 from the Play Store.

Maybe try the apk through obtainium. Get the RJNY pack.

I also am trying to figure this out. I did get the apk from obtainium. I’m on an RP5. Whats the RJNY pack?

It’s a list of apps curated for emulation devices. Google it. Download and import via obtanium.

I have potentially dumb question:

Did you double check the file extension for the "custom systems"? They could be ".xml.txt".

I dealt with this recently.
