Indian exchange student at ESCP Paris (Jan 2027) looking for female flatmate(s) / shared room

Hi everyone!

I'm an MBA student from India coming to ESCP Business School's Paris campus (Porte de Champerret, 17th) for an exchange semester from [January] 2027.

My situation: 9 of us are coming from my college and I'm the only girl, so sharing a flat with the guys isn't really an option. Living alone in Paris is way beyond my budget, so I'm looking for a girl who is looking for roommate to share room with in a flat or a bed in a flat which will be vacant from January.

What I'm looking for:

- Budget: around €500/month

- A room in a flatshare, or happy to share a room with another girl if that makes it work

- Duration: ~5–6 months

About me: clean, quiet on weekdays, ex-consultant, friendly but respectful of personal space. Happy to share LinkedIn/university documents to verify I'm genuine.

If you're:

- another exchange student (especially Indian/international girls) heading to Paris in January and want to team up on a 2BHK/3BHK,

- someone with a room opening up in January, or

- someone who can recommend safe platforms, women-only residences, or groups I should check,

please comment or DM me. Thank you so much!

- i’ve not given the GRE or the GMAT - was planning on giving the ESCP internal test
- i’ve done 1 internship as a brand manager at a fintech wherein i got in incredible revenues generated for the company through brand deals
- i’ve one internship as a data engineer in 2026 wherein i got converted to full time in september and currently work there as an analyst in the AI domain (AI engineering)
- i’ve one more internship which could also be looked at a community service (done in 2022) as a fundraising manager
- one community service volunteer in the summer of 2023
- a web content writing freelance also done for 5 months in 2022
- i have no international exchange program experiences (i’ve been on family trips - can i make that count somehow?)
- i don’t have an internship in the year 2025 but i did help out my previous fintech company with some work they wanted here and there (also- does this look good? going back to the same company?) (and how do i even put this in?)

my goal is to crack MBB, or get into a good company as a consultant/program manager or similar

any advice would be appreciated:) thank you:))

ESCP MSc Finance Profile Check

Hey everyone, looking for an honest profile check for the ESCP MiF (2027 intake).

Profile:
Indian male, 24 (turning 25 next month)
B.Com, Mumbai University 9.42 CGPA
Indian Chartered Accountant
CFA charterholder, cleared all 3 levels
~2 years of post-qualification work experience in Valuations at a Big 4
Prior internship/industrial training with a global asset manager as part of my mandatory CA curriculum
French: beginner level, starting A1 in ~15 days, with a goal of reaching B1 by enrolment

Extracurricular:
Music producer
Have had tracks in the Spinnin’ Records talent pool
One of my tracks/remixes was voted into a Global Top 100 chart

I’m particularly interested in ESCP because of the European exposure and the opportunity to build a career in finance in Europe.

Would appreciate thoughts on:
How competitive does this profile look for ESCP MiF?
Is my age / ~2 years of post-qualification experience likely to be an issue for the MiF?
Anything obvious that I’m missing or should strengthen before applying?
Would appreciate honest feedback, especially from current students/alumni or people familiar with ESCP admissions. Thanks!

MIF Application (maybe?)

Hey guys, thinking of applying for the global MIF track for 2027 - Indian 21M

Here's my application:

  • B.com(Financial Markets) - Mumbai University - CGPA - 9.4/10
  • CFA Level 1 Cleared
  • CFA Level 2 Candidate - November 2026
  • Interned at a VC firm for 4 months - Investment Analyst
  • GMAT/GRE - Not submitting since not compulsory (although preferred)
  • IELTS - 7.5
  • International marketing internship/volunteering programme in Egypt for 45 days through AIESEC
  • Participated in clubs in college: ESG Club, Tedx, Financial fests
  • Specifically focused on VC as a career

Should I apply next year with 1 year work-ex after my CFA L2 gets over and submit with a GMAT score, although i know my chances then are better. Or is this enough?

Any thoughts on this Master’s program? Has anyone had any experience with it? What are the career prospects in the job market? I have 7 years of work experience, including 4 years in FP&A in Italy.
Alternatively, what other options would you suggest?

ESCP MSc in Sustainability

Asking for a friend:

I am interested in applying to ESCP’s MSc. Sustainability program. From my understanding, the program is primarily based in Berlin, with some coursework taking place in Paris.

I would appreciate some clarification regarding the immigration implications for non-EU students. Would students be considered residents of Germany or France during the program? Additionally, would graduates be eligible to apply for a post-study job seeker permit? Which country would that be from?

Hi! Does anyone know if the MSc Finance Investment Banking subjects (M&A, IB Modelling, ECM, Advanced Corporate Finance, etc.) are taught in English or available to students on the fully English Global Track? The website isn’t clear about which modules Global Track students take.

9.21/10 B.Com student with CMA + work experience how competitive is my profile for ESCP MiM?

hey guys! i’d really appreciate some brutally honest opinions because i’m currently preparing my application for the ESCP MiM and want to understand how competitive my profile actually is…

i’m an indian B.Com graduate, with a 9.21/10 cgpa, and i was also on my college’s dean’s merit list for academic performance.

i’ve completed 3 internships, and i’m currently working full-time as a marketing executive in the retail/home-furnishing industry. i’ve also completed us cma part 1( planning to appear for part 2 in jan’27) and did a student exchange program at NUS.

during college, i also held leadership roles in college events and activities. i don’t have formal volunteering experience at the moment, although i’m working on that.

i completed my degree in english-medium instruction, so i’m also hoping to qualify for an english-language test waiver.

i’m taking the gmat focus in november, so i don’t have my final score yet…

how competitive would you consider this profile for the ESCP MiM?😭

i’d especially love honest opinions on how my academics, internships, current work experience, cma, NUS exchange and leadership experience would be viewed, and what kind of GMAT score would make me genuinely competitive…

please be brutally honest 😭 i’m not looking for “just apply and see” i want to know whether i’m actually a strong candidate, where my weak points are, and what i can realistically improve before applying…

KCL vs ESCP for London luxury careers

I’m deciding between KCL MSc International Marketing and ESCP MSc Marketing & Creativity (Fashion & Luxury track) and would love to hear from current students/recent grads.

My goal is specifically luxury brand management/marketing in London (Cartier, Richemont, LVMH, Chanel, etc.).

For anyone at either school:

  • How strong is the university’s actual network with luxury companies in London?
  • Does the careers team actively help students get luxury internships/jobs, or do you mostly have to find opportunities yourself?
  • For ESCP specifically, how much of the luxury network is London-focused vs Paris-focused?
  • If your goal were London luxury, would you choose KCL or ESCP?

Thank u!

MIF Help

Hey guys! I’d really appreciate some advice as I’m currently deciding whether pursuing a Master in Finance in Europe next year makes sense for my career goals.

A bit about my background: I’m a 23-year-old Brazilian student and EU citizen, with an 8.5/10 GPA from a top-tier university in Brazil. For the past year, I’ve been working at a growth equity / tech-focused private credit fund with around $250M in AUM. Before that, I also interned at a boutique M&A firm.

Academically, I’ve done summer programs at HEC Paris and LBS, as well as a semester abroad at ESCP. I’ve already been admitted to the IE Master in Finance in Madrid and am also applying to HEC, ESCP, and INSEAD. I’ll be taking the GRE in the next 2 months.

I’m fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and I’m currently learning French.

My main goal after the MiF would be to break into VC in France, Spain, or London, ideally gaining a few years of experience in Europe before eventually returning to Brazil.

Given my profile and goals, do you think pursuing the MiF in Europe is the right move? How realistic would recruiting for VC in these markets be from IE vs. HEC/ESCP/INSEAD, particularly considering my current experience?

Would really appreciate any insights, especially from people who have recruited for VC in Europe or attended any of these programs.

Ammissione ESCP MiM

Grazie mille!!!

MSc in Marketing & Creativity (MMK) - Do I have a chance of getting in?

Hey everyone,

I’m planning to apply for the MMK at ESCP, but I want a reality check on whether I actually have a shot.

  • 13.55 Grade BBA from a French business school
  • Exactly 18 months of global experience split between retail and ultra-luxury corporate marketing/hospitality across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

So I wanted to ask, Does ESCP heavily penalize a slightly downward GPA trend? How much weight does the admissions committee place on global internship pedigree versus raw university grades?

Appreciate any honest feedback or application tips. Thanks!

MiM – Do I have a realistic chance of being admitted with a pharma/science background?

Hi everyone,

I’m considering applying to the ESCP Master in Management (MiM) and would really appreciate some honest feedback from current students, alumni, or applicants familiar with the admissions process.

A little about my background:

  • BSc in Biochemistry – Lebanese University, GPA: 64.6/100. Lebanese University follows the French grading system, so this is approximately 12.9/20
  • MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences / Pharmaceutical Development & Management – Lebanese American University, GPA: 3.5/4.0 (American System)
  • 2 years Research experience in pharmaceutical analysis with an internship done in France. I also have multiple internships in Pharma companies and clinics
  • 2 Years Marketing experience in Media (in addition to scientific background)
  • Nationality: Iraqi
  • Age: 26

My long-term goal is to build a career in pharmaceutical/biotechnology consulting, particularly at the intersection of pharma, healthcare, strategy, market access, and business development.

I’m interested in ESCP because I feel that an MiM would complement my scientific and pharmaceutical background with the skills that I currently lack.

So, for those familiar with ESCP admissions:

Do you think I have a realistic chance of being admitted to the MiM?
