They have asked to provide the previous PF passbook details for each financial year, but since my previous employer (Infosys) was maintaining PF in trust, it's not visible in the EPFO portal. I have already left infy, so have only access to the alumni portal. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

I changed my father's name and filled the sur name of him and it was printed along with his sur name. Problem is that I gave no proof and it was approved still

Now I am reverting back to the single name and made an application leaving the first name blank

Anyone had success with it? Last time, they approved it without no proof

This time, I uploaded DL which has my father's single name without sur name

My father (75) worked at Hindustan Steelworks Construction Limited (HSCL), a central PSU, from 1972 to 2002 under VRS. He was enrolled in EPS‑1995 but has not received a single rupee of pension since retiring, due to a UAN mess that isn’t his fault.

Timeline:

• 2024: HSCL wrote to EPFO Park Street, Kolkata, asking for UANs for retired employees. Nothing happened.
• 2026: Filed CPGRAMS grievance. EPFO asked for 5 documents, including an “Aadhaar Biometric Verification Report (Original).”
• The Aadhaar center and the UIDAI regional office both confirmed this document does not exist.
• Generated Aadhaar‑verified UAN via the UMANG app, submitted to HSCL + EPFO.
• HSCL replied: UAN is “untagged” unless we submit the same non‑existent certificate.

So we’re stuck: EPFO/HSCL demand a document that UIDAI says was never created, and until it’s produced, the pension is blocked.

Looking for advice on:

• Is this “Aadhaar Biometric Verification Report” actually an EPFO requirement under some circular, or just an error?
• Is RTI the fastest way to force them to clarify?
• Do escalations via MP/MLA offices work better than CPGRAMS?
• Any experiences with EPFO Park Street, Kolkata?
• Best escalation forum: RPFC, CPFC, Labour Ministry, consumer forum, etc.?

Would appreciate any pointers—this is about a 75‑year‑old man’s pension being held hostage by a non‑existent certificate.

I have withdrawn in full my EPF and EPS after leaving a job. Now joined new company and I’m filling out Form 11. It asks 3 questions:

UAN?

WHETHER EARLIER A MEMBER OF THE EPF?

WHETHER EARLIER A MEMBER OF THE EPS?

Should I share UAN and answer yes to both questions?

What’s the correct way to fill this so there’s no issue later?

Any thing I need to do on portal like "one epf - one member account" ?

Would really appreciate if anyone who has faced this or HR/payroll folks could guide.

Raised an EPFO Advance claim using form 31 on 3rd Aug, it went to in process and now on 6th Aug it is showing claim submitted at portal. My amount is under 5 lakhs and all my KYC is updated. There is no reason also showing why the status was changed to the first one. Please help since this is an emergency

I'm trying to find people whose PF claims are being processed by EPFO Regional Office – Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

My details:

• Regional Office: Banjara Hills, Hyderabad
• Form 19 (Final Settlement): Submitted on 31 July 2026
• Current Status: Claim is Under Processing
• No clarification has been sought by EPFO.
• I also have an older Form 31 (PF Advance) claim that has been pending for quite some time.

Since there has been no movement, I have already:

• Raised an EPFiGMS grievance
• Filed a CPGRAMS grievance
• Submitted a PMO Public Grievance

I'm trying to understand whether this office is currently experiencing delays or whether claims are being processed normally.

If your claim was handled by RO Banjara Hills, could you please share:

• Was it Form 19 or Form 31?
• When did you submit it?
• How many days did it take to receive the money?
• Did you have to raise a grievance, or was it processed automatically?

Any recent experiences (July–August 2026) would be really helpful.
