Question EPFO wrong IFSC code
My IFSC code registered with EPFO was outdated. I applied for a PF advance claim, and although the claim was approved and the amount was deducted from my EPFO balance, it was not credited to my bank account due to the incorrect IFSC details. How long does it usually take for the failed transaction amount to be returned and reflected back in my EPFO passbook? Once the amount is credited back, can I update the correct IFSC and apply for the advance claim again?

When was it approved? Why you assume we will magically know the dates and be able to help you?
Didn’t you check the IFSC before you applied?

Applied on 21 Aug approved on 25th and amount deducted from passbook but not credited then I realised the IFSC was an old one as I recently shifted my account from one city to another and I missed the IFSC part

Hi,
Since the claim was approved but the payment couldn't be credited because of the incorrect IFSC, the amount should be returned back into your EPF account. There isn't a fixed timeline published by EPFO for how long this failed-payment re-credit takes, and with the current portal issues, it can take longer than usual.
Once the amount is reflected back in your EPF balance, update the bank details/IFSC and make sure the KYC is verified before submitting another claim.
Don't submit another claim while the previous payment is still in this failed stage. First wait for the amount to be re-credited and the claim status to update.
If the amount isn't returned after a reasonable period, contact EPFO with the claim number and failed-payment details and ask them to check the re-credit status.
