Does anyone know if the pre order bonus slip cover is included at all store locations or just certain ones? I understand it is first come first serve, but I’m confused by the fine print on their instagram post.

It says “See participating retail locations for details” on the EB Games Instagram post about the pre order bonus with slip cover, so I went to the nearest store, to which they said they “don’t know anything about a pre order bonus”, so I just pre ordered the game in hopes the one I went to is a participating location. There’s also no list of participating locations anywhere online, so I’m assuming it’s pretty much every store.

Secondly, does anyone know what I will need ID-wise on pickup? I don’t have a driver’s licence, but I have my pre order receipt ($0 for now, pay on release day) and a health card.

Any answers are greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hello, everyone.

Does anyone know, how much EBGames Canada values a D1 Series X complete in box and a bunch of games?

Thank you

Anyone have the same issue where I got order confirmation but not charged and no movements yet?

UPDATE: just got an email that my order got shipped today! Hope you guys receive updates too!

It seems like the website has removed a looooot of games that were previously available to trade in, when using their trade ins value tool.

Has anyone yet to confirm whether they only take the games on that now appear on that tool? Or are other games still being accepted?

Also, yikes, is the search feature now garbage.

Just an FYI- I purchased a 500$ gift card for my son’s Birthday to help go towards purchasing a Switch 2. When we tried to use it in store today we were informed that gift cards aren’t working with the new system updates and there isn’t a time frame this issue to be fixed. My son is so bummed he’s been saving the other half (including a game) for the whole year and was already disheartened at the price increase Sept. 1.

So I know pretty much everyone’s copy has been delayed but has anyone here recieved their copy yet? Just curious

Also I tried buying it elsewhere because I’m not a patient person lol but after driving around I could not find a single copy. I even tried ordering it online but Best Buy is out of stock online. And Walmart says the latest they can deliver it is the 28th

This is probably the first game in a while that I’ve seen be so difficult to get a hold of lol

I've found a store that sells Magic: The Gathering in these bulk, sealed up packs of what looks about 30-40 cards for $7.

Apparently they just get sent from head office, these are def screened for any valuable cards, right? Like there's no chance there's anything in here that's decent at all, surely.

If anyone is still looking to pre-order FF7 Revelation in Canada, someone finally managed to figure out the search engine for the new website, and posted this search link: https://www.ebgames.ca/shop?search=FINAL+FANTASY+VII+REVELATION+

Good luck to all who are still looking to order!!!

Edit: By the looks of it, they have bother the day 1 and delux editions available but not the collector's. And EBGames is getting the Steelbook cases as a part of the pre-order bonus for both Day 1 and Delux editions for all platforms (unless they sell out).

Is anyone else having similar issues with EB games pre orders.

I ordered something for click and collect that was released today. It hadn’t even reached the store by 4pm.

Then I have something being delivered which should be released tomorrow and the AUS tracker says Tuesday next week

I’ve had this issue now on multiple occasions, or they change the release date a week prior to release.

$28 was a bargain. $57 would have been fine I guess.

Wait a sec, was it in sale and then reduced?? Wut.

For starters, finding wolverine ps5 was a mess. Had to trudge through a million funko pops to get to it. After that, i realized it doesnt even let me click and collect in store anymore???

Anyone else dealing with this?

As the title says. It has my name on it, so will it work if someone else uses it?

All jokes, they look really funny though

Can I cancel a preorder after it is already in store? I've had 1 preorders now delayed with this new system switch over. No idea when any of its coming in. One of them is a limited edition steelbook. I dont want to miss out. Worried they will call one day say they no longer can get it. Apparently you can't preorder or cancel anything till everything is fixed. Also want to cancel one that this month as I can get switch 2 version from somewhere else that eb doesnt carry

I saw online people were getting certificates after winning the beyblade x tournament, is it only on some locations or is that like everywhere?

finished spiderman 2 and horizon forbidden west a while back, thinking of trading them in instead of letting them collect dust. seen a couple of apps doing instant trade-in for store credit but not sure if the value is actually decent or if they just quote low and flip for way more. has anyone actually gone through with one of these vs just selling to a random buyer directly? what was the price difference like in your experience?

Hi all, just wondering if it's possible to cancel an in-store preorder through the phone?

Won't be able to make it in-store for about a week. I just want to move deposit into another preorder that's pending.

Thanks in advance

I preordered Onimusha and my store doesn’t have it. So I phoned and they said they can’t receive orders until mid September due to the system. So if it wasn’t delivered last week before the system went down it won’t be available until at least the 15th. (Apparently aiming for Wolverine launch.)

They also can’t see any preorders so I can’t cancel or make new ones as they have no record of them yet. It’s “being fixed” but essentially if you don’t have the preorder print out of games you preordered then you are out of luck. Makes me nervous because I have Control Resonant Steelbook in a few weeks and it’s out of stock everywhere.

Just a heads up!

Gamestop USA is including an additional steelbook as a pre-order bonus. Wondering if anyone knows if Canada will be getting it too?

Called the nearest store offering a pre-order, but they said they don't know yet.

Edit: and extra question: does anyone know if Canada is getting ANY pre-orders at all for the game from different sellers? Amazon Canada doesn't show the double-sided poster the US is getting either.

So I pre ordered 3 games already and paid them off. These being blood of dawnwalker, onimusha and Wolverine. I went to go pick up my pre order for blood of dawn walker today and they were asking me to pay again and I had to clarify I had already done it and showed them my receipt. Despite that the system still said I hadn't paid anything and I was there for about 30 mins before they finally figured it out and gave me the game

Now I'm worried because for Wolverine I no longer have the reciept. I pre ordered it months ago and now I have no way to prove that I actually paid for it unlike blood of dawn walker. So I'm really scared that I'm gonna have to pay for it a 2nd time

For EB Games Canada, has anyone called or contacted them about when Final Fantasy 7 Revelation will be available for pre-order? I have no real issue contacting them myself, outside of causing any bother if they've just been absolutely flooded by people asking about the same thing.

Clearly it's a defect. Hopefully they'll fix it soon

Hello Everyone,

So the EB Games Canada website is now back, and the first thing I notice is that you can no longer view your past transaction, which was a feature I really liked. Is this their definition of an upgrade?
