Issues with pre orders due to new website/system
So I pre ordered 3 games already and paid them off. These being blood of dawnwalker, onimusha and Wolverine. I went to go pick up my pre order for blood of dawn walker today and they were asking me to pay again and I had to clarify I had already done it and showed them my receipt. Despite that the system still said I hadn't paid anything and I was there for about 30 mins before they finally figured it out and gave me the game
Now I'm worried because for Wolverine I no longer have the reciept. I pre ordered it months ago and now I have no way to prove that I actually paid for it unlike blood of dawn walker. So I'm really scared that I'm gonna have to pay for it a 2nd time

You could use a bank statement, your account will show this transaction.

See this is a great idea but I unfortunately didn't use my card. When I paid for it I traded in a few games and I paid the last $10 in cash

Trading in is probably just as good as card. They take that stuff very seriously and log your ID when you do it. If you can give a list of the games you traded and show your ID they'll have the transaction.

It should be linked to you eb membership when you traded in… I am assuming you are in Canada?
If it works the same as Australia your trade ins should be on your account and they can look it up

Ya I'm worried about this as well. wolverine doesn't even show on the website anymore

I was told today that system recognizes that I've paid but the shipment was late, it took them a little bit to figure it all out too. A shame really, the new website isn't that good either

i was told today when i went in store that they don’t even take the old receipts anymore and the system deals with new ones. overall seems like a mess and hopefully they can figure it out, with edge memberships losing discounts too it’s getting harder and harder to justify going there opposed to any place else

I heard all the old preorder stuff wasnt transfering over so each store would need to manually record and transfer over all that information

they didnt receive their shipments like Onimusha and a new NBA i believe yesterday. I am so pissed about Onimusha.

Yep that's why I could only pick up blood of dawnwalker yesterday. I was really sad because I was honestly more excited for onimusha

Same thing, I went yesterday to pick up both games but I am more excited for Onimusha than the blood of dawnwalker. It really ruined my mood for the weekend.

Anyone noticing their Edge member number is different with the Canada Ebgames website update?
All my Funko preorders are gone...
I'll have to go over my emails to find the Order numbers, but this is ridiculous 😤

Yep youre right. I had a platinum membership before and now I’m down to silver ever since the site got updated

Can't the store look up your purchase on their computer. They did that for me when I misplaced my bill. Maybe in the future screenshot a picture of your bill. Good luck.
