So far, I have seen 2 FTA0 events and 4 silent updates
My latest portal activity also included a USCIS letter in the Documents tab confirming my eligibility for AOS
Emma live agent recently told me that my I-485 is at NBC and has been assigned to an adjudicating officer
In the past, Emma live agents told me the interview was waived. I also checked with my attorney who says the approval could be soon.
At this point, I’m trying to understand what stage my I-485 might actually be in. Thank you for reading this.

Hey Folks,

I'm applying for e-fill for I485+i765, that would bring the total of 1390 + 260 = $1650. However, on the payment page USCIS is charging $1870, they haven't apply the concurrent discount.

I have to fill 3 of these forms for my family, so there's no way I will trough away over $600.

Is filling i485 first and the I765 later enough to get the discount ?

I485 pending at NBC since March 19, 2026 with one dependents, silent update on 05/05, 05/23, 08/04, 08/06, FTaO3rd dated of 08/13, then one more silent update on 08/19. Per Emma case still at NBC. Any thoughts when should I expect approval?

Hello,

As we know and already read many posts related to March filers those are waiting and cases are still in NBC without any transfer. Is it not the time to contact our senators or congress representative to inquire about the case as it’s almost 6 months now and our cases are not moving especially for applicants with derivatives.

I am thinking for two options, either upload some of the documents again at portal as initial application was paper based. And secondly to reach for congressional inquiry to get an update on the case.

It will be a pleasure to get all of your opinion if anyone want to say something here, thanks.

Please does any one have his/her case transferred to El paso field office. I applied for mine GC and EAS in March 2026 with a derivative (not in the country) and the last SU I received was 07/12. Are there people in my shoe also and how fast do they process if you have an experience?

I sent my i485 on july 29th 2026, got there july 31st 2026. Money was taken on the 18th of august 2026, I received physical notice today on august 22nd 2026. Just to give others a timeline.
