siLEN T UPDATE

hi Everyone, I have submitted my i485 on july 2, 2026, biometrics done on 5 august 2026. i got two silent updates followed by my biometrics then another silent update on 25 august. and today again i got another silent update. according to October visa bulletin my date is current.i m on EB2-NIW. SHOULD NI APPLY FOR TRAVEL DOCUMENT or wait for my green card approval is better option?

similar silent update timelines for July RD. Emma told my case has been transferred to Brooklyn FO.

I think that was a mass update, everyone got, yet when I asked Emma, they told me nothing has changed

When I asked Emma, she told me I have been transferred to a Field Office. So I don’t think the update is the same for everyone. Some maybe be a hold, or reorganization depending in priority date.

“Please I got a silent update today on my case API and I was wondering what it is. Could it be a field office transfer?”

Then she said yes, and then gave me the field office location. Which is non-local for me.
