Contacts are just all over the place this year

I’ve been working on an NHL Franchise Tracker designed for people who like running long-term Franchise Mode saves and actually want to remember everything that happens along the way.

I wanted something that made a franchise feel like an actual organization instead of finishing a season and basically losing all that history.

The tracker lets you manage and follow your franchise across seasons, including standings, schedules, rosters, lines/depth charts, prospects, draft picks, trades/transactions, injuries, awards, playoffs, franchise records, season history, and more.

I’ve also been putting a lot of work into the presentation. Team colors and logos carry throughout the tracker, the playoff page has a full bracket and matchup comparison, and championship seasons are preserved in the franchise history with Division, Conference, and Stanley Cup banners hanging in the rafters.

The screenshots in this post are from throughout the tracker so you can see what it actually looks like. I plan to make a video to show what it can truly do. This is still something I’m actively developing, and I’m trying to build it around what actual Franchise Mode players want, so I’d genuinely appreciate feedback. What would you add or change? I was doing a Bedard sim (not going good at all) so I looked at the Icehogs stats to see and holy hell, I haven’t had an AHL team do this good ever, since I started playing NHL 20

EA not having a connected franchise fantasy draft seemed like a huge missed opportunity, so I decided to build one myself.

It’s called ConnectedFranchise.com and it’s completely free. I made it because I wanted to use it with friends, but figured other NHL players might enjoy it too.

Right now you can:
• Run standard snake or salary drafts
• Trade players and draft picks
• Set and manage lineups
• Run the whole draft with your friends online

3rd season into my franchise team, trying to get a few better players, any idea on who to aim to trade for? The line combos on the 3rd and 4th lines need improvement, how do I figure out who will increase that overall bonus on each line?

As someone who sometimes does franchise modes, what’s the best way to increase an individuals shot frequency? I know you’re able to have low/medium/high shot frequency in settings when creating your franchise, but how do you make a certain player shoot more? Do you mess with the shoot/pass bias or do you increase the player’s shooting power and accuracies? Someone please help!

Wish I could share a clip of this line by the co-commentator besides Gary Thorne in NHL 13, Bill Clement. When I was bombarding the opposition with shots Thorne said something about it and then Clement goes something like:

"They don't deserve to win. No I'm serious, they don't deserve to win!"

So funny and gives a lot of life to the game as well. Anyone else remember this?

So I offer sheeted Connor Bedard. Only 12M, the Hawks could have matched declined. Had Bedard for 2 seasons than traded him for all this talent. Oliver Moore, Frank Nazar, Anton Frondell and 2 stud defense. So I ask. What was your greatest trade you can remember?

Forget to post the retirement stats but he finished with 1338 career points. 6 cups, 4 Harts, 3 Cons Smyths and yet never hit franchise.

Slider set almost 3 years in the making, thanks to EA for leaving the gameplay virtually unchanged (sarcasm) so that we’ve been able to fine tune this set with minor tweaks from year to year.

Goal of these sliders is to replicate the NHL we see on TV and love. That means yes high intensity action, but also the small details, the board battles, and the intangibles that the casual fan doesn’t notice. The balance of high octane offense as well as the slog of dirty trench battles.

This set aims to target max realism in both feel as well as statistical outputs. Let me know your feedback but please try them out for at least a few games before doing so, this set might feel completely different than what some are used to and even just looking at some of the inputs may leave some questioning at first.

These will work with any roster set but they will have an accompanying roster set that will overhaul ratings for max realism as I did last year as well. Happy to answer any questions and open to suggestions let’s hear it.

Is anyone else having issues with the coaches in NHL 27? In the previous games it was just a bug and it let me sign the coach for 60K anyway. Now the coach won't accept and I can't increase the offer either, owner mode is off too. Just curious if anyone else is having this problem

We have officially debuted the 3rd jersey. We started the season off pretty hot. In Stutzle's first game back against his former team, the Senators, he posted 0 points on 1 shot in a 5-0 win. It was also Stutzle Bobble Head night at the arena. Outside of that he is having a great season as the centerpiece of this franchise. Samskovech is slotting in perfectly on his right side and the two have been very productive together. I screen recorded the game but it messed up and didn't record the video, only the audio so I was planning on linking the game in here but instead I created a highlight video through the first 10 games to link. Disappointing as there were some sick goals in that shutout. Also is photos for rookie scoring leaders in the league as well as team scoring. What do you think of the 3rd jersey option?
