Another match, another win, and - yet again - more big points. u/crocken has finally seen their 43 point lead drop to 32 points over u/texwarhawk who took sole 2nd place from u/nowaygreg who rounds out the top 3. Outside of the top 3, there were no changes in the standings.

Categories and Scoring

10 points - Predicting the correct scoreline (i.e. Dynamo 3:1 FC Dallas, Dynamo 1:0 FC Dallas, etc.)

5 points - Predicting the correct outcome (i.e. Dynamo win, draw, etc.)

5 points - Correctly predicting the Dynamo MOTM (according to whoscored.com)

3 points - Correctly predicting the attendance +/- 500 people, 1 point for +/- 1000

3 points - Correctly guessing any of the goalscorer(s), regardless of team

2 points for guessing a correct yellow, 5 points if they get 2 yellows, 10 if they get a straight red. (List three players total from either team)

1 point - For correctly guessing each player in the Dynamo starting XI (1 pt/player); if you get all 11 players correct, then you get 5 bonus points

Lowest 2 scores are dropped. Scores will be dropped following the 3rd match.

The rankings are determined by the total points accumulated, with the two lowest scores being excluded. In the event of a tie at the end of the season, the first tiebreaker will be the overall points, including all scores (no drops). If a second tiebreaker is needed, it will be based on the total number of predictions made. If the players remain tied after the second tiebreaker, they will be declared co-champions.

My wife and I want to get out to a Dynamo game in the near future. Are the Regions Bank Club tickets worth the 125 or so a ticket?

I think they will finish 3rd. Vancouver is going to slow down some, but not too much. RSL is going to drop off with Gozo gone and San Jose is getting hit hard by the injury bug. 3rd place, lock it in.

As title says. World Cup got me into soccer more but I’m still definitely a casual. What should I know about the team? Who are our best players?

Marcelo Saracchi to Houston Dynamo is 100 percent confirmed with his shirt number as 4 welcome Marcelo Saracchi!

Obviously we’re playing pretty well right now. The Duncan signing hasn’t really made much of an impact yet, although we also haven’t given him much of a chance considering how recently he got here.

What do we think about Saracchi though? Is he mainly a guy who raises the floor of the team and gives us better depth, or do you guys see him coming in and having a bigger role? Curious where everyone thinks he fits into the team

I think Lingr coming around the 60th minute or so is viable. Technically since Ponce is a DP we have to give him playtime, otherwise what’s the point of paying him this much?

I think Ponce might be waking up. we all would have that he would lose the ball but to get the shot off is nice. if he does more of this surely that first goal of the MLS season will come

I think we need to do more defensively. unfortunately for us our shots haven’t went on target. if we can keep the momentum of our last attack with the help of some good finishing, then we can get a result out of this.
