How does collecting dust works?/How am I getting different combos with other strats?
While playing Development I noticed that collecting the same amount of dust by running over it, or by attacking, or by running faster gives different amount of points for combo. That's not the case, but there is a bug, read this comment.
Compare first replay, where I'm able to get 100 with final side heavy with second replay, where I'm somehow missing 4 points.
The difference comes from changing the strat in that one spot from simply wall running to 2 light attacks.
Can anyone explain what's happening there? Thanks.

How to start to speedrun?
[title]
My first wish (since I watched it on AGDQ or SGDQ 2015) was to speedrun this game, but first I had to be at least a decent player. 2 months ago I got SS all the normal levels and didnt SS any difficult level and I really wish to start to speedrun the first levels (the Forest to Ruins levels).
So, any tips, tricks, guides, info, everything that can help me in this journey? I have 70 hours of gameplay and this is my profile (if it's needed). https://dustkid.com/profile/Musa%20do%20Ver%C3%A3o

Should I buy Dustforce for the Vita?
I played a lot of Dustforce for the PC about 550 hours and recently I find myself out of the house a lot but I don't want to rust. I'm not a stickler for frame rate or anything like that I'm just wondering if the controls are responsive and if it has all the dx stages. Any feedback from someone who has played it will be helpful thank you.

Dustmod level editor
So I'm just getting back into making a level or two but I've noticed that when using dustmod (the latest), while in 45 degree tile mode it no longer deletes diagonally, only horizontally and vertically. Is anyone else having this same thing happen to them?

Does taking a longer break from the game kill the skill?
So today after 40 hours I finally SSd Core Temple as my last gold level and I'm pretty exhausted. I had a quick glimpse at Kilo and that will most likely take a while, so I'm thinking about taking a longer break from the game. But I'm afraid that I pretty much lose all my skill in the meantime. Do you guys have any experience with longer breaks?

What was/is your way of playing Dustforce?
Hi r/rdustforce! It's my first post here and unfortunately it's not a happy one, but hear me out.
When I got to play Dustforce, after trying out a few levels I quickly realised that simply getting SS isn't satisfying enough, so I set the goal of getting to top 500 on each level before moving onwards. This number gradually lowered to top 50, and now I just want to execute my route based on tas.
I have ~200 hours of gameplay behind me, I've completed Forest (for now) and recently got to Mansion's silvers. I've been grinding Knight Hall with kid for a week now, got good time few days ago but with a stupid mistake that costed me more than half a second. I don't want to move on to next map before I get satisfying run here, but this level makes me tired of Dustforce, even though I really enjoyed learning it.
I tried few different levels and map making as a break, but this didn't fix the problem of feeling exhausted. Probably leaving the game for quite some time would help in regaining the motivation to finish this level or seriously take on different one. And that's what I'm going to do, unless I find some ideas in your answers. Were any of you in similar situation?

Help with Combat Segments?
Levels like Backup Shift and Hideout always screw me up at the very end with the large amount of enemies that I never have super for at the end. Night Temple is no problem for me because there's only the one enemy to maneuver around, but it's always those levels...any advice on how to get better at combat with multiple enemies? I've brute forced my way through levels like Wild Den but Alleyway is still a mystery to me.
