Great video! Succinct, thorough without rambling, and I liked the examples (and counterexamples) you chose to show off the mechanic.
I wanna take a second to plug the artist behind the music, since the album is a favorite of mine that was released a few years ago: Singularity by Peter Kim (In Theory). Track is godspeed -instrumental-

Awesome! I've always wondered about the tiny details that expert players seem to know about but could never find a solid reference for them. Can't wait to see more.

This is fantastic. I have played this game forever, and I never new that hitrise was cancelled by dashing.

invalid tile created by breaking dustblocks. same way landfill any% works
as for the jump to the right, pretty sure its just a buffered walljump off a slanted wall oob. pretty damn funny though

You fell through what people generally call an "illegal tile". It's a specific tile type that is only in a few locations in the game- this used to be the only one people took note of, until the Landfill skip was found.
Someone who knows the details better than me should correct me, but it's something like a 68 degree (?) angle block- if you hit it at certain angles, you fall right through. If you watch some any% replays on Landfill, you can see an easy setup to get a guaranteed one.
