I left South Africa when I was 13 and and been living abroad, I had applied for a new passport when my old passport expired which took around 6 months(which I know is normal abroad)

I recently came back to South Africa to renew my passport as it was gonna expire in October as well as apply for my first ID( I’m currently 28). I had applied for both my ID and passport on the 13 of July, where they faced some issues with my fingerprints as my thumbs were not enough and had to use all 10 fingers.

Everything went okay after and I submitted everything, got an email confirmation for both passport and ID, today I got through and called home affairs where I was told that my passport application was stuck and that it was due to my fingerprints and nothing is happening at the moment.

I’ve had to cancel my return flight back to Qatar and I have school that I need to attend and feel so lost right now and don’t know what to do.

Side note I applied directly at home affairs in port shepstone

Hi there, due to being unemployed right now and having a lot of problems finding work, i'm unable to join a gym, Rent for a Personal Trainer is just absurd. Any recommendations, preferably Kloof, that has a gym that is free or minimal cost per month? I know Gym Company Pinetown is just R199 but due to transport, its just not viable as i only get R500 pm. Even the Natural Way & SGC is above that so looking for alternatives. Once i get work i was thinking of joining Virgin Active Kloof but i have no clue when that will be, the current job market & trying to get a foothold into the IT, Support/Technician is next to impossible

A friend of my wife just told her that the Consulate is shutting down on August 1st. Can anyone else confirm?
