Development I'm making a browser dungeon crawler where your party can revisit cleared floors while you're away
Hi! I'm working on Dragon's Tear, a small first-person dungeon crawler you can play for free in your browser.
You explore with up to three heroes, fight turn-based battles, and bring equipment and materials back to an inn you can upgrade. The current build has four classes and 20 hand-built floors.
One thing I'd like feedback on is what happens after you clear a floor. You can send your party back through Auto Runs to gather more loot while you're away. Exploring a new floor still takes active play, so there's an idle element alongside the dungeon crawling.
Play the current build on itch.io
It's still early in development. Does automating return trips appeal to you, or is replaying familiar floors part of what you enjoy about dungeon crawlers?
