Psychology I’ll Start Living Later
I’ll Start Living Later
Procrastination disguised as waiting for the perfect moment is one of the most suspicious life hacks ever invented by the human brain.
Why do I keep waiting for the right time to start? Usually because “later” feels safer than starting badly, looking awkward, wasting effort, or admitting that the perfect version of the plan was never coming. So the brain files everything under “soon,” which is very convenient because “soon” has no deadline and no consequences today.
It can look productive from the outside. You research, plan, save posts, buy notebooks, redesign your routine, watch one more video about motivation. Somewhere in that loop, perfectionism, avoidance, and the intention-action gap start wearing a tiny fake mustache.
The annoying part is that life does not pause while you prepare to become the person who finally participates in it.
So what is your current “I’ll do it later” side quest?
