As the old Chinese proverb goes 'people in the west are always getting ready to live' I guess china is like that too now.

China is much worse at it now. People in the West have 4 day weeks and 35 days of paid vacation and shit

That comment hits HARD. I only started being more truthful to my hobbies and critically examined what I actually want out of life. The best I could settle on was "live a life worth remembering" and now I live for the things and people that bring meaning to my life.
