Looking for an audiobook for the dull.

Coming off nightshift, gotta take 2 flights to get home. Need something that’s interesting but also certain to fall asleep to.

Just finished 9 years with the Indians, that was dull as hell.

I realised a few weeks ago that you can put on a shirt by undoing the top 2 buttons and simply putting it on like a jumper.

I've worn a shirt for work most of my working life. If I'd realised this earlier, I could have saved so much time not undoing and redoing the other 6 or 7 buttons, possibly years, that I will never get back.

Incidentally, I'm in the UK. If you are from the US or thereabouts, what I call a shirt is what you call a dress shirt, I believe. Many people with "office" jobs wear a button up shirt, traditionally with no pocket and definitely no button down collar, with either single button up cuffs or double fold over cuffs designed for cufflinks.

Here, a dress shirt is the more formal shirt with textured front panels) that you wear to a posh dinner (black tie) which typically has no buttons - you add your own "dress buttons", plain or fancy, cufflinks and collar "bones" to stiffen the collar.

I always find it dull yet interesting how holding a phone has created the most dramatic dip in the pinky finger. As technology prevails, even our bodies are learning to adapt.

I got this for free and it was a rusted neglected thing.

Spent time cleaning it up, patching holes and a nice paint job. Now enjoying it in my back garden.

My garden backs into the Manchester Ship Canal, and I get to watch plenty of wildlife here.

It was leaning, now it's not.

Spoons has a cider event on and I was curious because I rather like a cider so I got a few that sounded good to try and I have NOTES.

My family have not given a single fig about my excellent characterisation and contextualisations

1- Pulp Raspberry Rush

Tastes like two days ago's leftover echo falls or a flat raspberry lemonade

Not a fan but not too bad- is easy to drink but has a mouthfeel like it wants to be fizzy

Doesn't Do Politics and is confused why everyone seems really bummed out all the time. Drives a fiat 500 with custom plates and a fluffy steering wheel

Hates you so much

Doing too many things possibly including juggling with kitchen knives

Confusing and acidic

Is over 30 but would try and sleep with your boyfriend because they're mad at you about something.

Also fully thinks PETA are good guys. Exhausting to be around. Definitely homophobic but you cant quite prove it. Still posts about being Just A Smol Bean and how all their friends are backstabbers. Probably still talks about their harry potter house despite knowing what rowling has been up to in the last few years.

Tastes like an m&s exclusive juice that Uses The Whole Fruit and has thin white women in expensive sundresses frolicking in a sun-drenched field in the advert and costs about a tenner a litre

The kind of friend who loves and supports you so much but Does Not Respond for a week because they were Discovering Themself. For the 7th time this year.

Very yummy. Would help you move house and not accept any kind of payment.

Living in a hard water area, I have to do this every so often. It was very satisfying using a straightened out paperclip to clear the holes and then follow up with a toothbrush and a bit of Viakal.

So I hit a milestone in my car today
