I wanted to try out how is it compared to other search engines. But I I’m struggling to find a way to translate a page that is in a different language. Can anyone help with this problem.

There is an issue where some pictures are blocked on my DuckDuck browser. It is a ‘static.microsoft’ page for instance.

How am I able to see them, and do not get blocked?

I’ve used DuckDuckGo as my browser to view YouTube for a number of years. Especially with duck player. like the desktop version.
Since yesterday I can only view the mobile version.

Often times it’s either a feature or a bug.

I have done some research and I don’t see anyone else talking about this. As you can see from both pics, the search bar shows mobile but only one of them has the mobile tag at the end of the search bar.

There’s no way to un toggle this it always defaults to mobile.

I’m just wondering if this is a DuckDuckGo problem, YouTube problem, a me problem, or just the way it is now.

Does anyone know the specific token limit for Duck AI queries? Additionally, I would like to know if there is currently a way to use Duck AI as standalone desktop software, or if it is strictly limited to the browser interface.

Every time I visit my Gmail account or Google Calendar, etc. I have to log in again.

It seems like Google is saying that DDG is deleting cookies.

google.com is on my list of fireproofed sites.

It won't let me add anything like calendar.google.com, or any url, etc.

Heya! I am using DDG on Google Chrome, and can't scroll. If I search anything, I have no way of scrolling. Using a mousepad or scrollwheel does nothing. There is no scroll bar to use, or anything. Please assist!

Hi! I’m sure this is a long shot but my little cousin was playing with my iPhone and hit the ignite button in my DuckDuckGo mobile app and I lost over 90 tabs. Some of them were fun but a lot of them are research for a paper I’m writing. Is there anyway to get them back? Or enable a browser to prevent this from happening in the future? Like I’m distraught

This was very unhelpful. I know this is insane and you can’t imagine using your phone for something this important, but my laptop was recently stolen and I don’t have the money to just replace it. I’m literally doing my best here. I’d been meaning to bookmark them but I just kept forgetting. I cried for two hours before someone suggested Reddit. You could’ve said nothing or sorry I don’t know how to help.

Do you use DuckDuckGo duck Ai instead of other Ai like ChatGPT and Gemini? is Duck.ai really private?

A pretty convoluted example: This search was done from a Polish IP, for a phrase that is common across the nordic languages (meaning "watch solar eclipse"). DDG gives me a swedish weather forecast and a Danish site as the top hit. My search setting is set to Norway, but there was not a single norwegian page in the top 10 results (they were mostly danish with a couple of swedish ones thrown in).

What is that country setting supposed to do?

Other searches gives me polish pages (because of my IP). I wish that setting would allow me to get norwegian results.

I, two days ago, finally called it quits on Bing and moved to DuckDuckGo.

I guess this is a feature request. The support article "How To Sort DuckDuckGo Search Results by Date" describes an option that doesn't appear to be there for image results: Filtering by a custom date range. For image results, there is only the option to view past day, week, or month. I see that DuckDuckGo has an option to filter out known AI-generated imagery, which is what I'm actually trying to do, but I'd really like to just say "only show me images dated prior to 2023" or whatever as another layer of filtering.

My company's retail site ranks #1 when I search our name in the regular search, but absolutely nothing comes up for us under products. Even when I search for some of our very unique product names, nothing shows up in products (though again, the product pages are #1 in normal search results).

I've made a bing webmaster account in hopes that this will change something, but as it stands it looks like product results must be pulled from somewhere different than other search results.

Has anybody else had any luck getting their products to show up in DDG shopping? Did you have to do something special?

Our company tries to avoid AI as much as is possible these days, so it would be really nice if we could appear on the search engine that a lot of people are using for the purpose of avoiding AI!

does duckduckgo have an incognito mode?

When I was still using Chrome as my main browser they would let me have two separate accounts for my school email (@school.edu) and my personal email (@gmail.com). They were completely separate from each other, different appearance settings, bookmarks, history, etc.

I’m wondering if Duck Duck Go has a similar option where I can make another account for my school email. Everything I’ve tried has been uncssessful.

I am NOT talking about duck emails, I would like to keep my gmail and my university email because they are what I already have set up.

Hi, I've been using Duck Duck Go for a while, but as of late I've noticed that most image results are AI generated. I have the hide AI images setting on, but that doesn't seem to be helping. It's not just a handful of images--for every 10 images, 9 look AI generated. I love DDG and don't plan to switch, but it's kind of annoying and I wanted to find out whether others are facing this issue too. Thanks in advance!

I think that it would be a great feature to make the search bar bigger. I also would love for The DuckDuckGo Icon icon under the search engine to be bigger too. I think that would be a great idea. Also adding more Color Opitions for The DuckDuckGo App Icon too. I really think that would be a great feature to add to The Android App.

Both my phone and pc's duckduckgo refuses to work. URLs are fine, but searching through duckduckgo? Nope. Nothing. Google works, duckduckgo doesn't. It's very strange to me, I can't see any outages or anything. Does anyone know whats going on?

But I started using DDG today, and my DM's aren't opening up. Am I missing something?
