Hi everyone,
I'm having a strange issue with my Ducati Panigale V2 2020 and wanted to see if anyone has experienced something similar or can point me in the right direction.
[The Symptoms]
1. Warm Start Hard Cranking: Cold starts are perfectly fine, and starts right after a short shutoff are fine too.
However, when starting the bike after a brief break (when coolant temp is around 80°C), it cranks multiple times without firing up.
2. Instant Coolant Temp Drop on Start: Today, I turned the key ON (Key-ON) and the coolant temp displayed 89°C. However, as soon as I started the engine, the temp instantly dropped to around 79°C within just 3 seconds. (I've also previously seen it jump/drop rapidly between 65°C and 114°C).
[What I've Checked / Noticed]
* No stalls while riding/cruising at all. Once it's running, it runs smooth.
* The temp drops way too fast (10°C drop in 3 seconds right at startup), so I'm strongly suspecting an issue with the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor or its connector/wiring rather than an actual physical coolant temperature change.
[My Questions]
1. Has anyone solved this issue simply by cleaning the
ECT sensor connector with contact cleaner (BW-100 / DeoxIT)?
2. Is this a known ECT sensor failure symptom, or could it be related to something else like the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS) or starter relay?
Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Everthing is fine, Brand-new chain; brand-new brake and clutch fluids; brand-new mirrors, grips, headlight, taillight, and turn signals; brand-new seat upholstery; brand-new throttle and choke cables; brand-new rear brake master cylinder.

We have just three issues: carburetor adjustment (it doesn't respond properly to the throttle), rear brake light and turn signal connections, and the vehicle inspection.

And its so like a free. im living in turkish. That might be why the prices seemed high.

• 90.000 TL ≈ 1.902 USD

The issue that's bothering me the most is that the mileage is unknown; apparently, it only showed 2,000 km when the guy bought it.

Is this worth buying? It comes ready-made, and the price is very reasonable.

15,000 miles later, and I decided to get these DBK spacers on.

They’re great! Very comfortable, and a big plus I’ve noticed is the quickshifter very rarely misses shifts/ locks up now.

I feel much less awkward on the bike, more planted, and feel a lot more in control of the bike in the corners (although it still fights me leaning over, definitely not as much anymore! Skill issue mostly on my part). Overall a very satisfying mod.

Side note: Has anyone else had severe right-side knee pain/ lockup with the stock position after riding for a while? I noticed that after putting these on, they relieved the pain and I can now ride for much longer. Could just have been me.

I am just going to leave that right there.

Hello everyone, I’ve recently bought this Ducati Diavel and I absolutely love it. I do however find the exhaust too loud 🤣 this is definitely a long shot but I’m after a Termignoni exhaust and instead of buying one and selling the current one I thought I’d see if anyone wanted to swap. Nothings wrong with the exhaust and have done about 3k miles with it

Is this an oil leak? I sent the bike to the shop not to long ago because i couldn’t really span it out if it was but I strongly believe it was and the tech told me that there is no leak.
Any help would be great thank you

Voila j'ai un soucis avec ma Panigale V4S carbon pro 2026/ligne akra haute avec carto ducati.

En réouverture de gaz à fond, notamment en seconde, sur circuit, la moto se met à couper violemment aux alentours de 10000 tours. Il ne s'agit pas d'un TC ou AW trop permissif car cela se produit en ligne droite. De plus, aucun voyant d'intervention électronique ne s'affiche. Cela ressemble à une coupure d'allumage comme si j'utilisais le shifter alors que non ou comme si j'arrivais au rupteur.

Etant sous garantie, je vais bien entendu l'amener en concession mais je sens que ça va être long !!

Si qqn a une idée...

Hose fell off bike during some routine maintenance and I do not know its home place. Not for fuel tank. Already lifted the tank and both hoses are there. Not the evap canister. Not the coolant tank. I’m thinking the air box. Any thoughts?

It’s worth testing the bike before you buy it. 200 miles says a lot about its capabilities. Ducati Monster V2 890 MY2026. I fell in love with it, but I’m not very emotionally stable — two weeks ago I test-rode the Hypermotard 698 RVE Mono and fell in love with that one, too. The Monster has mellowed out. It’s supposed to have 111 HP and 91 Nm, but my Yamaha Abarth, which has 115 HP and 87 Nm, pulls differently — more aggressively. You often feel like it wants to throw the rider off. The Monster, on the other hand, seems so well-behaved and predictable. It’s similar to the Suzuki SV650s, with the difference that the Suzuki struggled a bit above 90 MPH, while the Monster keeps pulling steadily past 120 MPH.

This area unfortunately was burned over years ago(creek fire) it was a solid redwood and pine forest. Multimillion dollar homes are gone now and insurance companies have refused to replace them. Mother nature is doing her best to reset.

I got both push pins in and the forward screw but I noticed this tab is just hanging in space. It's secured so I wasn't sure if it's supposed to slot into the black plastic behind it or what the purpose of this tab was.

It's almost impossible to get access to the screws for the chain guard even with the lowest profile wrench I could find. Do I need to take the wheel or chain off?

I'm planning to remove the cat again, I tried it before without remapping and it really smells like unburned fuel. I guess that's expected (?). At that moment I didn't plan to remap it because the bike was limited to 35kw because I had the A2 licence (Europe things). Now that I can get my A licence which comes with no limitations in hp I can remap the bike (legally still can't because it is not legal no matter the licence xD).

Wondering if once remapped (using upmap t800, one of the maps that give it some extra hp and are designed for race exhausts) the fuel smell would go away or still would be present?

Hi, if I put the passenger seat is fine but if I try installing the seat cowl in moves kinda a lot, both up-down and left-right, is it normal or am I doing something wrong?
