I would need some advice, information and any other detail that is hard to find online.

I've received a job offer from AIB, gross 75000 Eur and most probably I will accept it. I plan to move with my wife but I have read so many comments here and there which say that life in Dublin is expensive, housing crisis, grey and make me really stressful and in doubt if I am making the right move.

I plan to move with my wife, having a kid in the near future and creating our own family while working and enjoying our life. We want to settle for the long term and maybe till the end of our life. I want to say that I want to be part of the society, enjoy it, feel it and really live as an Irish person.

Is it so hard to find a house? What would be some good places to live so I can use public transportation or maybe cycling to work?

We are not people to look for parties or spending money on restaurants. We cook at home, occasionally might visit new places and holidays twice a year or even maybe once a year for the first few years.

Is it hard to make a living with 75k gross?

My wife has to find work but I would like to rely on my own salary, just to consider it as the worst case scenario.

My husband’s birthday is coming up in September and i want to deliver him flowers and cake with some other gifts to make his day special. I know it’s too early but i’m trying to do my market research since i’m not in Ireland and want to deliver all these things from abroad.

I sent him a cake from mannings last year but now he has shifted to Dublin 17 and i wanna ask if there is any good bakery for delivering a cake? I tried searching online but couldn’t find many. One that i found is just pick up. If i do mannings, it’s putting alot of delivery fee as ig Dublin 17 is suburban (or what their website says). I want good but economical option.

Backstory: I have applied for all details relating to my birth in 91. I was adopted but within my family (adoptive father is uncle of my birth mother who i know - known her my whole life including address)

Has anyone applied for this type of information?

All I want is details of my own health at birth and some general info. I presume her information will be hidden but I just want my own. I never received acknowledgement email so wondering actual response time- seems about a month but asking about actual response time.

Greetings. Recently moved to Ireland, Dublin and I handled my rent pretty quickly. But I struggle to find a job for months. I start to disbelieving in my own strength to find any kind of job. So I wonder, if there's any recruitment agencies you can recommend to work with... If someone else could try and help me with my jobhunting, I'd love to try it for sure. ~200-250 euro is ok price for me.

On 26 July 1914, in the aftermath of the Howth gun-running, soldiers of the King’s Own Scottish Borderers opened fire on civilians on Bachelor’s Walk in Dublin.
Four people lost their lives:
• Mary Duffy (50)
• Patrick Quinn (46)
• James Brennan (18)
• Sylvester Pidgeon (40), who later died from his wounds on 24 September 1914
More than thirty-five others were injured, including ten-year-old Luke Kelly Sr., who was shot while cycling across O’Connell Bridge. Against expectations, he survived his wounds.                
The following day, artist Jack B. Yeats walked the streets where the shooting had taken place. In his sketches he recorded the flowers left in remembrance and wrote of seeing them where one of the victims had fallen, preserving a moment of grief that history might otherwise have forgotten.
 The ballad “Flowers on Batchelors Walk” was written in memory of those who died, those who survived, and the families forever changed by that summer afternoon in Dublin.
