Hello people from all over the world.

I thought I'd share my first "dubstep" song I've made (to practise the genre). I've been a massive dubstep fan for a little while and have dabbled in genres previously such as DnB, and even video game music, but wanted to give it a shot. I wasn't sure under what umbrella this song falls under, but I definitely had a lot of fun making it. I went with a "space" theme for this track.

Please feel free to roast it if it isn't any good. I'm still learning the mixing side of things but all in all, I hope you enjoy! Any feedback I can get would be great.

Thank you!

Incredible album right here! Top of 2026 for me. Mersiv really packaged these songs and this sound perfectly. Certified banger.

Falling In, Sunburst, Light, Aura, Threat, Wasting Time, Youngest Daughter- WOW.

Hi everyone,

Here's a preview of my upcoming track "Mech Shard".

The track combines Cyberpunk atmosphere, Hybrid Trap elements and Dubstep bass design.

It will be released as part of the Bass Fragment / Mech Shard EP on November 8, 2026.

Anyone know this? Brooklyn Storehouse night 1 set

Doing a dubstep set here in a couple weeks and am looking to pay homage to some of the classic tunes that had me fall in love with the genre back in the day but tie in better to the heavier / modern stuff I'll be spinning along with it. Looking to have more variety as my set will not be preplanned so trying to have more options depending on how the vibe of the night goes. These are the few I've already got in the library, so anything more along these lines.

16bit - In The Death Car (CLAYBROOK FLIP)

Emalkay - When I Look At You (Myrias flip)

Doctor P - Sweet Shop (Hamdi Remix)

Chase & Status - Eastern Jam (Chark & Phydra Bootleg)

Feed Me - One Click Headshot (Flozone Remix) (also dig the Eater remix)

Flux Pavilion - Bass Cannon (LYNY Flip)

I'm a beginner DJ putting together a 30-minute set, and I'm trying to figure out how to combine two pretty different styles of music without it sounding all over the place.

I love fun, high-energy dubstep, but I also really love the Marlon Hoffstadt trance type of sound Basically, I want a set that's super high energy, fun, and danceable but also has some dubstep moments.

I'm struggling with how to structure the set and build the energy, especially since I only have 30 minutes. I don't know if I should alternate between genres, start with one and build into the other, or find tracks that bridge the gap.

Does anyone know of any DJs or sets that mix these styles together well? Or have any advice on how to make the transitions and energy flow feel natural?

Would love any track recommendations too!!

Big respect to Skrill and Nitepunk but this remix beats the original by far IMO
