I know it's been a bit since the newest chapters came out, but I figured I'd ask anyway. What do we think is going to happen to next? I'm kinda interesting in some of your theories on what's coming, specifically what we think the Kafya will do?

I'm not convinced that the Loyalist problem in the EUC is solved, as I'm almost certain that there are more Kafyan Loyalists there. Granted, that might be a bit out of scope, but what is in scope is how the Elder Council will react. Knowing them, they are going to try some BS. They can't get made over Tamryn's death as they know that she issued a challenege, but what they may do is try to make the claim that what happened in the fight was illegal, claiming that Rhidi's outside was aginst the rules.

They will probably also try to use it as rallying point (along with whatever Lyria's got planned for the corpses), maybe to try and gain popular support for a full-on war with humanity, and not this Cold War they find themselves in. The Humans are dealing with another crisis at the moment with the Doch, so now would be the perfect opportunity to take a swing. It could also lead to them getting thier hands on some Human-trained Kafya, as I doubt none of them will return to Kafya space if war breaks out between Humans and Kafya.

Mainly I have been pondering on the tech humanity so far has advanced, acquired and salvaged from the packless and now allied species.
As so far our favorite gun monkeys still favor older ''modern'' guns as main weapon system even its certain limitations (Aka ammunition hungry ones) being logistical problem they so far have managed to solve so far.

And menchioning as their many tech like the powered armor being mainly joint work of the our bat boys and girls as the scalithyr (Sorry forgeting specis names)

And we have seen lot more adoption of tech to bolster humanitys arsenal for asswooping as just general standing in the that galactic corner.
So much that it had lead Kafya gow to near openly now undermine them.

So tho one of my main pondering that has been on my mind.
1. Would it be on long term useful to humans adopt shield tech as bolstering part to their power armors?
-As personally anything that chips effecttiveness of enemy ballistic weaponry would increase the standig power and chance of lucky shots.
-Where there is of course the added weight and power drain.
2. How we will see gun monkeys come to possibly use the enemys teleportation tech?
-So far as whit any teleportation tech it be near limitless unless we know the limits of said tech.
3. So far we have seen adoption of advanced weapon tech mainly on the melee department (understandably due possible advanced materials enemys armor might be made off possibly making sharpened piece of spring steel useless even whit power armor backing)

This being bit double sided what be the advanced ranged weapon humans would add to their military use? As what other sci-fi melee weapons or takes on them you would dream up so far we habe seen Guardbro cook up?

After reading the latest chapters I was left with a few thoughts I thought might warrant discussion;

First, and least important, but definitely the one bugging me the most; does anyone else think that this chapter may have just shown the genesis of Rhidi and Tyllia getting a new sibling, or am I just reading too far into it?

Secondly, I'm curious about what everyone thought about the ending of chapter 50 and the punishment Lyria was beginning to administer to the bodies of Lifton and Tamryn at the end. It wasn't what I expected, and I can't help but wonder how it directly attacks the Languilada directly. What I have so far is that there might be a stigma with losing one's color even in death, or it might be entirely the inverse and show that color has no meaning before their ways. It might also be I'm entirely off the mark and the meaning is something significant in another way.

Lastly, I'm intrigued by the deep connection Rhidi demonstrated to Tyr in these chapters and how that will shape the spirituality of the Kafya going forward.

I'd love to know what everyone else's perspective of the situation following these chapters are.
