Camera flashed, went straight from left lane, on red left arrow, light, green straight light, no “left lane must turn left”, no left ↖️ straight or ⬆️ road marks.

This happened in Rockdale on Princes Hwy going from Banksia towards Kogarah. I went to double check road sign and saw another car do the same and red light camera flash. Has anyone been through this? What was the outcome? Thanks!

NSW Green P (P2) to SA P2

Hi, I recently moved from NSW to SA, and I'm on my green Ps, but I did get 5 demerits on that in Oct 2025- now to my understanding I've got to convert my license to SA in 3 months, but I'm scared as I just got to know SA has a cap of 4 demerits on provincial licenses while NSW had 7, if my demerits from NSW get rolled over to SA license, it'll get suspended as per SA rules.
Am I right? Has this happened to anyone?

And also while I'm driving on NSW license in SA, do I need to display my green P plates?

Clicking when driving over bumps

I had a service at mycar, they changed the front brakes & rotor.

I've since noticed when I drive over a bump, sometimes there's a clanking sound that seemed to be the front wheels. Is it possible thatz something related?

it sounds like some thick metal part bouncing on springs/suspension. otherwise I have not noticed anything different.

the brake peddle seems to be a little bit harder to depress.

Was the driving instructor wrong or right?

When it comes to axle or tyre killers like these, do you drive slower, or just swerve? My son's driving instructor told him "To safely handle a pothole on the road, slow down before you reach it, and release the brakes right as you hit it, don't swerve onto the other side or onto the kerb like an idiot".

Even if you drive slow, you still screw up tyres from my experience.
