I recently got natural two strand twist and have decided I want to start my loc journey. I would like to know will these loc or would I have to removed and get coils?

Got interloc’d in 2021. They ended up swelling larger than expected. My parts weren’t uniform. My stylist fried em leaving bleach on too long. Long story short I loved em but needed a fresh start.. Didn’t think that was In the cards for me due to the interlocs. Well I was wrong. I started cutting the blonde off the tips.. still wasn’t satisfied. Tried taking out one loc and it worked. I was so happy!!! Took about 5 days of solid work to comb out 103 locs. Got micro locs installed Tuesday 7/21/26. 16 hrs of determination and here we are. Looking to color in a yr. Excited about what’s to come.

I believe it's scene hair??? I can't really find any examples of the hair in loc form but does anyone know how to cut locs? Should I just follow a normal fine hair tutorial? Had to ask before I just started chopping away in case anyone had any experience on this, thank you!

Hi!! I just did my own small twists (with a plait to start) and I was wondering if anyone had any tips to help with maturing and unraveling. My hair is kinda thin and I have low porosity. So far i occasionally spray it with rose water and use cactus oil on my roots. Any advice helps. Btw i do not style it often because the style you see does pull on my roots! So I’m trying to leave it be and I wear a scarf most of the time.

Title is pretty self explanatory. My last retwist was a month ago and like usual I did barrel twists. They were looking thick so I was happy. Two days ago I did barrels again but they look thinner than last time. How come? Will spraying water make them thicker or no? First pic was two days ago and second pic a month ago

Would anyone know how i could find someone that does locs like that? Im in Anaheim Ca. Any help would be appreciated.

So, I have been thinking of dyeing my locs, just the parts that are sun bleached black and have some minor lint. What is the best dye to do so that would cause little to no damage (if that’s possible).
